I will when I turn 60.
I think that's long enough for me, since I don't see anything beneficial after 60
social security. and aarp magazine.![]()
Yeah. But when I thought about it I always had the intention of coming back. It was more like a vacation that no one knows I'm on, at a place no one knows about.Cаrter;11391471 said:Same. I don't think of suicide, but when I start to get stressed out, I think how nice it would be to check myself into a psyche ward for a week or two and just let someone take care of me and convince me that I am ok
I was wondering how much regular people think about suicide (if you guys can be called regular people). Do they think about it at all?
How much does the average person think about suicide, or death in general? Are suicidal thoughts something to be concerned about or what?

Suicide is for the weak, unless you have AIDS or you're about to be tortured by some sireal killere there's no excuse. Where there is life there is hope. 98 percent of the reasons for suicide are so pathetic you don't even feel bad for the people doing it, and 65 percent of the time it's commited by angst teens that listin to too much Simple Plan.
I wouldn't exactly say "suicide is for the weak". I don't suicide is ever something someone enters into lightly. I don't think any kid commits suicide because the parents didn't buy them a harley. And you're forgetting about real mental issues, like depression. Depression isn't something that you can just "get over". You can't just slap a person and tell them to get over it.
"Unless you have AIDS".... what?? Plenty of people live perfectly normal lives with AIDS. We have drugs that help them, you know.

I really doubt there has been a single case where a person didn't think long and hard before they committed suicide.
There was a case recently in Britain. These two parents basically tortured their own kids over a long period of time. Social services didn't believe the kids when they tried to tell them what was happening. One of the boys committed suicide. In the mind of a child... children don't think "in 10 years time, I'll be out of here!".
I wouldn't say suicide is cowardly. It's simply a personal choice.
Death yes but not too much.I was wondering how much regular people think about suicide (if you guys can be called regular people). Do they think about it at all?

Not if you're depressed about having no arms or legs.Suicide = permanent solution to a temporary problem.
