I'm fine with the mix of the 616 and Ultimate Goblin. As long as he isn't Hulk sized. It makes sense he would physically turn given that Norman is sick. But what's great about this is that they can really play up the whole mystery angle to his identity. It could even be Harry. I could see them going the SSM route where Norman frames Harry for being the Goblin while he was really him the whole time.

By 'mutated' you mean a transformation? Cause it appears that is the route they are taking. The difference being, the Goblin will still be human-sized.

Yeah that's what I meant. I'm not too keen on the idea of two consecutive villains which are essentially just green monsters.

Ok. Yeah, I don't mind that they're both green cause even if they went the route of having the GG just use a mask, I'd still like it if they used green and purple for his colors. But with Webb's Oscorp centralized universe and the cross species aspect, it was kinda a given that they'd go the transformation look. And, that part doesn't bother me at all...the part that would have bothered me is having the GG be a hulking monster aka USM. That would have clashed way too much with the Lizard.

He's scaly due to an inherited disease, and his hair is patchy. He also has pointy ears. Kinda looks like an orc from LOTR.

i don't think we NEEDED the purple hood, per say. I can see the logic in going without it, but i don't think the hair is our solution either.

Anyway, it wont deter my excitement, too much about this movie is going really well for me to get upset about one hairstyle and topple the whole thing over.

If Harry is Proto-Goblin, I'll be fine with the changes made, but I still say Norman needs to off Gwen Stacy.

From the leaked trailer, while I couldn't understand the dialogue, it seemed like Dane's expressions suggested a sinister motive for being back in Peter's life. Like he already is bad... something happened to those two as boys or something. Maybe it's all Norman's powers of persuasion and seduction that makes Harry this way but he clearly seems like he has an agenda from the get-go for being back in New York, restarting his and Peter's friendship, and getting closer to him. Maybe he blames the Parkers for his dad's deteriorating health?

It looks pretty white to me, especially considering that before the transformation it was like a dirty blonde-brownish. To be honest, I can kind of see where the people who are trashing this movie are coming from. It's not exactly instilling confidence, the poster makes the movie look like a massive cluster**** to be honest. They could have gone with something simplier, the Transformers movie posters never looked that cluttered lol

everyone is saying harry will be the green goblin, but unless cashforstash was lying... for all we know harry could be hob or proto, there isn't really a word said to actually say this is the green goblin let alone that green goblin was even involved in this film, so if they keep it hush hush it may mean he aint actually green goblin but let fans think it is till they see the film
