He's green, he looks creepy, and he's got a face that can move. The only negative is the hair.

ahh come on a black iron man suit, a skin condition and billy idol hair are just as bad if not worse then the defoe look

I think the suit looks better. Not that it's great or anything, but better than the Raimi suit. And the face would undoubtedly be better, if they would only throw a hood over his head. Heck, I'd even settle for the Ultimate GG horns instead of the hair.

Personally i don't think the goblin looks bad at all tbh, i mean its one of them things where one flaw in his look that differs from his comic book look will get an uproar, but seeing it in motion with dehaans acting i'm sure it will be pretty cool

its not all doom and gloom because he has hair people :P

we had these arguments about electros look as well...but its based on the ultimate universe which makes it more legitimate. but no one has drawn the goblin like this before so its bad...
personally i dont want a purple hoodie or giant pointy ears...it wouldnt fit the tone.
but like all reactions people will back off after more detailed pictures. this foto is very overexposed he'll maybe be greener and his hair wont be as white

its one of them things where we don't know if harry is the green goblin or something else or if norman will become the green goblin also at some point with a different look, i think thats very possible, does anyone really think norman (chris cooper) will be written out of in this film by having norman die in bed?

i know it doesn't really matter its basically harrys looks like the green goblin anyway to people, whether he is called it or not but personally i don't think this automatically should create doom and gloom (which it seems to be doing)

its predominantly black with green highlights from what we can see at the moment, which seems to go in line with the insider leaks from ages ago

My initial thought was a zombie Billy Idol, but your description is much more fitting. Completely boring design as well; looks like a rejected concept from X-Men 2000.

It's very rare that I'm that guy, the naysayer. Those that no my history on the boards will know I'm much more inclined to be positive about stuff such as costume designs or at least give it the benefit of the doubt until I see the final film. But I cannot deny that this Green Goblin design looks like absolute ass. One big plus of the franchise reboot was surely not being beholden to the cruddy, widely-panned design aesthetic of the Green Goblin costumes of the Raimi films. But it seems like they've somehow managed to keep every thing people hated about that take on Green Goblin, while also removing what few things they got right.

I think I might like it if I got an actual detailed image in HQ. As of right now, I'm indifferent about it. I don't really feel it's any better nor worse than our lovely "Power Rangers" Goblin we got in SM1.
