The design looks a bit like "Dane DeHaan has gone Super-Saiyan."

Looking at it more, it isn't quite as terrible as my initial kneejerk reaction, but I'm still not a fan. However, I don't think a subpar costume design will necessary sink a film or the performance, if they get the characterisation right.

Really? He was the Red Skull's son (lol) and he was a pretty big threat in the only episode he was in, he took down all of SHIELD single handed! He sunk the helicarrier and it blew up, that's pretty boss. That accent was the joke, though!

As I said before, the only possible way we could see 616 Goblin is if Norman physically transformed into him. I can't see a movie in this day and age having Norman wear a mask like that. It just... wouldn't work. IMO of course.
