If they go for the armoured costume route, which face it is more visually exciting than a leotard.
They should go for a more ridgy and scaly look like in this concept art.
It has a more menacing and sharp look to it
Having him wear a mask like that as a face of nis new identity like Rorschach would be the best.
You got to give him a reason to wear it, a ski mask can hide his identity, wearing a Goblin mask because it speaks to his insanity and reflects his inner body image could work great
The scene where Lizard surprised Gwen was pretty jumpy scary for PG-13 not to mention the amount they got away with in The Wolverine

I feel like Webb and Co could easily try and get some type of mask like this.

As long as it isn't a Power Ranger I'm down for whatever. Mind you, the creepier/scarier it gets the more they push the PG-13 rating. A lot of kids will see this movie, Marc Webb is directing this not James Wan.
