The Dark Knight how should the joker fight?

But I think the main point here is that when Batman faces him, he should be like nothing Batman has ever faced before.

I base this on the fact that the movie takes place before the dawn of the Super-villain(aka. Batman issue 1, the Joker's apperance. If your die-hard Batman fans, I suggest you go out and get Batman Dark Knight archives vol. 1 which contains this story. It'll be worth the money

). Right now, Batman getting into his niche of fighting crime. Ras and Scarecrow are relatively "normal" criminals, like the Monk or Dr. Death from the old Batman stories(though I know in the comics, Scare and Ras are far from normal). They aren't horribly disfigured or have any super terror spree planned(or none that I know of). They look like you or me, normal people(or normal "looking" people). But when the Joker first appeared, he was truely nothing Batman had seen before. Compared to the other villains, he really stood out. He could match Batman's strength with his own combined with his madness. He killed the way Batman would kill(if he were evil and a clown) and their ingunity made the character that much more sinister. He actually appeared that he could "trump" Batman(get it? trump? Joker? eh). The Joker even had a special Joker venom that didn't kill, but left the victem paralizied with the Joker's sinister grin. After all, he was gunning for one target, killing any more than that is sloppy workmanship. Good stuff, Good stuff.

Like the joker of TAS, fast, swift, agile, with an array of cross kicks and deadly uppercuts. Laugh throughout the fight, and use a southpaw boxing style to throw batman off. Use a variety of joker bombs, and have the grappling ability of zangief in street fighter, to try and slam batman into submission.

When he's up, pick a big piece of wood up and try to hit Batman with it lol.

He shouldnt be able to fight to much, i mean he can throw a few punches and kicks, but nothing special.

I think joker should be a sick prick no holds barred bastard like he is in the comics. Joker should fight with uzis, ak47's, 9mm,desert eagles,chains, spike balls, grenades, He should hijacked a truck and try to run over batman he should use shotguns he should like get a gatling gun and he should pretty much just go crazy while fighting bats he should fight batman within a long distance because if batman gets close to joker it's over for the clown prince of crime.

I think that's why Joker gets to Batman the most because he jokes around with him, teases and taunts him.. Makes him get angry and annoyed by him... That is a powerful weapon.. Making somebody angry using the good old piss take can give u an advantage i guess...

It's like teasing a bull with a red flag.. It comes charging at you and u just jump outta da way or throw it a cheap shot.. The Joker bein the guy with the red flag and Batman bein the angered bull..

I mean the Joker must have SOME effect to make Batman wanna strangle da crap outta him! Batman has all these fighting skills and stuff but it would take a LOT to make somebody want to physicly strangle you to death.. Strangelation is a much more slower form of 'personal' killing method.. Watching your victim die in your bare hands... To me that is an anger that would be hard to provoke in Batman but if the Joker can do it then it's an advantage he has... Even the greatest of combatents make mistakes during blind rage...

I really think The Joker should be a physical threat. The guy is a 6'5'' freak with amazing durabilty. He should be able to get Bats so freaked out mentally while fighting that he gets a little sloppy thus making it a closer fight. I'm not saying he shouldn't fight dirty (of course he should) but he should get some haymakers in there too. Like in the days of the Kane books. A more powerful Joker. A much better fighter then Nicholson (and comic books and cartoons over the last few decades) portrayed him as. I don't want to see Bats fighting his henchmen for an hour. To me thats kind of pointless. (Unless Killer Croc is one.)

Remember folks you could know every karate move in the book but ask anyone what the worst kind of person to fight is. They will say "someone who just doesn't care". Someone who doesn't care about their own life or the lives of people around them. They are the worst because you never know what they will do. Thats The Joker in a nutshell. The baddest of the bad.

i want to see a joker with longish hair, that gets messy when he fights, he shouldn't care about his life when he fights, or anyone elses.
he should laugh like a maniac while he is fighting.
also i would love to see Joker call Batman 'Bats' or 'Batsy'

also like in Batman 89, when Joker kills that guy with the heat/burning thing on his glove, and then talks to the dead body. i would love to see a scene like this, but Joker getting mad with the lifeless body and screaming at it.

I'm liking your idea about the lifeless body and Joker like screaming at it and crap..hell would be cool if he like "argued" with it or something. :P

One way the Joker could trick Bats in battle is to drop/throw some of those explosives that look like a sack of marbles. So basically, if the Joker had/used some of the gags like the Joker in TAS that would be cool.

with his usual trademark Joker Weapons Smilex, gas bomb that makes batman not able to see him allowing him to get away, flash bomb that blinds batman, razor cards to use on his victims and mabye bats if he gets desperate, guns, dirty tricks, ya know what does he usually use to fight? we'll just have to wait and see. I don't recall Joker fighting in The Long Halloween. But if you meant the part where he had the gun pointed to Maroni's head and one of his sharp Joker cards at Falcone's throat then I see what you mean.

I have already stated he should talk trash and crap while fighting to distract but a good thing to refer to is like in ROTJ in the flashback part where Batman had him up against a box and Joker distracted him with one hand and whipped out a knife with the other hand and then stabbed Batman in the leg after slashing at his chest.
