Wow, these were all posted within an hour... Alright let me catch you up to speed.
.)The purpose of this forum is to create a wrist mounted projectile launcher and a coordinating liquid.
.) Each person should have a design that is unique to them and serve their purpose. For me personally, I want to modify the military sticky foam formulation to create solid structures to encapsulate criminals by the pairs. JMA is making his for a costume, and I'm not sure what Spectacular is making them for. Symbiote-man wants a prop, but out of our ideas, his is the most realistic.
.) We have a web fluid, but it has not been tested because I'm too lazy to buy the materials and because I need to make a shooter first.
.) Theoretically the fluid could hold up to about 4000 psi however since we would be using a surfactant, and a strand would be about 1/8 inch thick, it would be significantly lowered without a little chemistry magic and a simple machine that again, I am too lazy to make.
.) We could not fill cartridges with it because the forcing through a small nozzle would make the liquid into a foam the second it moves from can A to can B. Theoretically it could work, but one can would need a complete vacuum.
.) Super glue, or Cyanoacrylate becomes hard in the presence of moisture because it uses hydroxide to polymerize. Unfortunately in your case, it would require a super fast catalyst. While the air does harden the glue, water does it quickly.
.) It would not be like a spiderweb, as actual spiderweb is not biodegradable and is not easy enough to recreate. While anyone can get fibroin, it is near impossible to liquify without a dangerous acid (available in some sink cleaners) or radiation. Even if we used some draino to liquify some fibroin, the only glue that could hold weight (this being Cyanoacrylate) does not react when in the contact of acids.
.) For Symbiote-man: A piston is a disk that forces a substance through a cylinder using pressure.
.)Welcome to the forum. I hope I answered all of your questions.
