In all honesty I have to go with Senator Kelly. If mutants really existed and I was not one (thus, I cannot efficiently protect myself) I would prefer to know who is mutant and who is not just to keep myself as safe as possible.

Well it really depends on what you were. a Human or mutant? If I were a mutant Id side with Prof. X, but if I were a human, Id probably choose differently.

If mutants as seen in the x-men world did exist then there is a chance that any of us would be a mutant.

well, in this scenario, if they do exist (an I'm not one of them) then I am definitely not siding with Shaw/Magneto's plan to kill all humans (since that would include me)

True...on that note, if I was mutant I'd definitely side with Prof X. I don't like stuck up people that think they're more "superior" than any other given person. However, I completely understand if somebody would want me registered as a mutant as long as they do not treat me with hostility.

Definitely Professor X... But there's a fine line between him and Erik... so it might only take one event to push me over to that side. :cwink:

Stryker. Kill'em all I say & let God sort'em out. :cwink: :rimshot:

If I was a human, I would side with Kelly as trying to kill them would mean my own doom. If I can't have powers, then no one can :cmad:

If I was a mutant, I wouldn't be on anyone's side and I would just steal money and be rich if I had a cool power that allowed me to do so.

Genocide is bad either way you look at it.

Honestly, Magneto either way. As a human, I'd feel pretty inadequate compared to someone who can, say, shapeshift, and as a mutant, I'd think I was a superior genetic being.

It really depends on if I were a mutant or not and if I was, what my mutation was..

If I were a mutant like Azazel or Mystique, a powerful, misunderstood mutant who cuold never fit into society, I've probably been afraid and ostracized my whole life and over time, probably might see Magneto's point of view.

You know, someone who obviously didn't get the X-Men and was bound and determined to not enjoy it either way actually brought up a good point once, in regards to this "if mutants were real" subject.

You have people here who can create fire, destroy cities with their minds, control the weather on a whim, and they want to wonder why they are feared and humans want them registered?

If mutants as we know them in the X-Men movies were real, I'd like to sit here and say I'd side with the mutants. And in a way, I probably would. But I'm sure I'd also feel rather uncomfortable knowing that there were people out there capable of such incredible things, and if I could be harmed by one of those mutants at any given time.

However, if I *WERE* a mutant, and had cool powers, and not some horrible physical deformity, I'm sure it would be like the most badass thing ever.

In the end, I'd probably side with someone like Senator Kelly.

Depends if I were a mutie or not. :ninja:

If I was a mutant I would be with Professor X until the arm fires upon us. Then I'm with Magneto.

If i were a mutant I'd side with xavier and the x-men, i believe in xavier's views that humans and mutants could live in peace with understanding

I'd side with Professor X for sure. It's not the easiest path to take but I think it's the right one.

If I was (am ;) ) human, I'd go with Kelly.
If I was mutant, I'd go with Kelly.

Fair's fair until the first salvo is fired; if it's war I'll do whatever is necessary to protect my family - But genocide..... A freak-load of bad would have to go down before I'm angry enough for that, ever!

I would side with Professor X if I was human or mutant.

Professor X so I can be friends with Banshee, Havok, Cyclops, Iceman

If I was a human in this scenario, I'd side with the Homo Perfectus Movement and Johnny Sublime. :o (Cutting up Mutants and stealing their powers. :awesome: )

And If I was a Mutant already, I'd side with Mags, cuz you know, f**k humans. :o

It's too dangerous to co-exist with mutants so I'd help Stryker kill them.

I would side with Apocalypse and his motto kill everyone and if your worthy you get to rule with the elite.

Professor, so that I could cuddle him and let him read bedtime stories to me. :p
But now, really, I don't believe in superiority in any way, shape or form. The notion that "my race is better than yours", "my religion is better than yours", "my species is better than yours", "my gender is better than yours" is just plain stupid, really.

Shouldn't all humans arguebly register so we know their mental state and whatnot that could be a danger to us? :p I'd be on Xavier's side, pacifism ftw!

PS. I'd like to option of U-Men, these people took Mutant dna/body parts and injected it onto themselves in order to "force themselves evolve".

Is it? If I can destroy a whole city just by farting, I think I might be just a bit better than the average *****e bag. :o

Beat you to it. :p

They do, they go to mental institutions and it is documented in their public health records. Lets take for example someone like Rogue, she is very dangerous and could potentially kill someone even though she didn't mean it (so, imagine those mutants that do intentionally want to cause harm...it can get ugly). A lot of mutants are significantly more dangerous that a mad man carrying a handgun (and you have to register yourself as a gun owner in the states). It would be like house cats living with lions. There need to be some sort of control implemented if humans are going to live with mutants. If I'm not a mutant I'd be pretty darn scared.
