Well, you're a sharp one, aren't youYes, in my opinion. That's why I ended my post with IMO = In My Opinion.
agreed, lets see if they'll still be laughing when something like that happens to them.....never had someone close to you die, or had someone you truely loved.
My mother died of cancer 7 years ago, and I cried alot, so I guess that makes me emo. I choked up when I was saying my wedding vows to my wife. I cried when my children were born, so I guess that makes me emo too.
I actually feel bad for people who don't get the crying scenes, because when you are touched personally by a tragedy (and it's enevitable that we all will face it at one time or another), you will probably be totally unprepared for the grief you face.
You can make up words like "emo" to make you feel cool, but when tragedy strikes, it will hit you like a knife through the heart.

Like I'm depressed, in pain, whatever the case. I don't look like I'm "trying" to look upset.So... what do you guys look like when you cry?
This is the most pointless thread ever.
And yet no one complains about the extremely constipated look of Tobey when he is trying to stop the train in SM2...come on folks. People only laughed at it or thought it was akward because they weren't expecting something emotional to come out of a summer blockbuster/pop-corn flick. That said...there was a bit too much crying. I can understand the Harry junk but little too much on the boohooing.people laugh at that scene because Maguire's face looks incredibly awkward and goofy. it's as simple as that.
Worst Tobey faces were in SM2... not in SM1. His face on the train (as mentioned) and when he is running across the rooftops he has this really really weird look.

And yet people made fun of Marsden's stiff crying job in X2 and if you had any emotional involvement in X3, they have pills to cure that.oh, bulls#!t, there was plenty of crying at the end of X2 and lots of parts of X3, not to mention when Uncle Ben died in SM1. but people didn't laugh in supposedly dramatic parts in those.

And hey, it's all opinionable.

LOL. You gotta be kidding me. He has the most ******ed startled look on his face in Spidey 1 when he swings into that billboard. There was nothing wrong with his face stopping the train in Spidey 2. Where is this coming from?
