Yea thats fair but unfortunately James Gunn announced, wrote, casted, shot and will release superman in 2 years…
First, there is more than a little suspicion that Gunn behaved like a scab and crossed picket lines to do so.Im not a Marvel guy but isn't he at the mercy of fitting the movie into the other films timeline. 3 years tops is a more then reasonable time for Matt Reaves to get a movie out.

Jeff Sneider can be a reasonable dude when he wants to
When you start the fire on purpose you don't get credit for trying to put it out.Jeff Sneider can be a reasonable dude when he wants to
Oh yeah, sure, had forgotten about all that. Got the memory of a goldifsh. Was just agreeing with that one post of his. When you start the fire on purpose you don't get credit for trying to put it out.

Second, I warned you about this topic being banned and you continue to be insensitive to well-reported personal issues that Reeves faced. So without further adieu,

We know this isn't true though. People on social media are the ones making the noise, and they're also the ones who follow this stuff and have been hearing the reports. Still plenty being really embarrassing.Totally respect whatever has been going on with Matt Reeves and understand there are more important things than movies like this, but to say the personal issuesof Reeves have been "well-reported" is a bit of a stretch. In fact, I would say the lack of information has contributed to the overall confusion and negative sentiment surrounding The Batman Part II's progress.
There's been no official report or announcement of what may or may not be going on with Matt Reeves that I'm aware of, outside of vague statements made by some online personalities and fan accounts which allude to various possibilities. I consider myself to be pretty well connected to this stuff, and even I don't know what exactly is going on or what the truth is.
I'm not saying that we need or even deserve any kind of details about Reeves' personal life/issues. However, if WB had been allowed to make some kind of vague statement of their own --- "Matt Reeves has been dealing with a personal/private matter and we have offered to provide him with additional time/resources to begin production of The Batman sequel..." --- it would have gone a long way to getting people off their backs and stop people from complaining or worrying about the film being cancelled every day. People would understand the possible reason behind any delays. Reeves could have even crafted a statement of his own months ago.
I get that he may not have wanted that kind of announcement or statement and that's okay, of course. Just spit-balling about what would have helped to control the narrative around the film, allow people to understand what is going on, and possibly lead some of these ******* fans to be more supportive of the whole situation.

The noise I speak of is the complaining. Plenty of well known "insiders" have made it clear that there is a personal issue with Reeves. These are the type of people those complaining read. What isn't true and what people? Grace Randolph? I'm seen those types of people making noise and "alluding" to things for clicks/clout but maybe I'm out of the loop on anything else.
Has there been an official statement or confirmation about anything?

It is well-reported HERE, which is what mattered in the context of this user's warning and ban. It has been discussed multiple times in this thread for several pages. I have made multiple warnings in the past to lay off the guy in here or else there will be bans and infractions. I advised this new poster of the situation and advised them to lay-off or else this was coming. They clearly did not heed my warning.Totally respect whatever has been going on with Matt Reeves and understand there are more important things than movies like this, but to say the personal issuesof Reeves have been "well-reported" is a bit of a stretch. And you and I both know all-consuming workaholic type professions better than most. And these fields tend not to be very considerate of personal issues, so the fact that people at Warner Bros. are actually giving Reeves' time and grace means it is something super serious.I think people also have to remember that directing a film is a taxing and all consuming job, so whatever Reeves is going through, the question for him would be whether or not he can actually take the time to film this movie as he would be away for potentially a year between pre production and filming if they film in the UK again.
That is likely the biggest issue. I can't imagine leaving my family for that long so it's something that's often overlooked.
Also hasn't even Mattson Tomlin, who is co-writing the script, liked social media posts saying to give Reeves' space because they have no idea what he has been going through? The noise I speak of is the complaining. Plenty of well known "insiders" have made it clear that there is a personal issue with Reeves. These are the type of people those complaining read.
ABDY: We’re not in the weeds on the Batman stuff. It’s really James and Peter Safran who run DC. We have a bit of other collaboration with Matt Reeves, but Peter and James know he is a writer/directing auteur in his own right, and that it will come when he’s written his best Batman script and is ready.
I wouldn't mind if this movie remained a one-off without any sequels at all.
I would accept that. It has its own story arc in the end: from vengeance to hope.

And I obviously wish Reeves the best in his personal life.
The Penguin already happened.I wouldn't mind if this movie remained a one-off without any sequels at all.
