The Joker looks a bit like Robert Smith from the Cure

Heath will go down in history as the best person to play the Joker. He dedicated himself to the role and he got it down pat. 20 years from now people when people think of the Joker they will think of Mr. Ledger. RIP Heath.

How come? What's wrong with having confidence that an actor has done a great job with the character? There are instances where you know in your heart and mind that this actor, this actress, or this director has done a great job with the film.

Heath has been receiving a lot of praise for his performance and I don't know about anyone else, but I feel in my heart, I'm believing that he did a great job and I expect to be blown away come July 18th. My expectations for this film are extremely high right now.

I've been through these sorts of things before and I'm not going to ruin the experience by going in with such high expectations that I can't even enjoy the movie. Nothing short of watching the entire movie myself will make me go all out to make total confidence of predictions of anything.

That's just me.

I wonder if Heath brushed his teeth when he was portraying the Joker......hehe..

I can't wait until July 18th.

I can totally agree with this, though Id LOVE to think Heath has done the best job anyone can do from what ive seen so far, I just want to wait till I see the film, to be fully sure of it!

Do you think he ruined his personal hygiene just to play The Joker? I think the yellow teeth are just part of the makeup job they did on him.

well , if he had the balls to lock himself up in a hotel room for an entire month , then i'd don't see why not brushing his teeth for a little while would be such a difficulty for heath .

either that or he ate a crazy amount of cheese or somethin each day before taping lol

Just try it. Paint your face white and look in the mirror. You'll have ridiciously yellow teeth. Why do you think that black people usually have shining white teeth? :oldrazz:

Its make up or teeth caps. I saw a documentary about teeth special FX make up. Its used in a lot of films surprisingly. Teeths teeth look normal when he wasn't shooting in the Pap pics off him.

Uh ... uh ... uh ...

OK, so I work as a production assistant on big budget movie productions- a sweet part of the fact that my older brother has been working in the field for almost 8 years now...He is an AD, or assistant director, and is currently working on this movie called 'Ashecliffe', a Scorcese flick with Leonardo D., Mark Ruffalo and Michelle Williams starring as lead players.

So I was given the job of running some random tasks and errands from Michelle, and it crossed my mind that on one day I was working- I had on the 'Why So Serious' t-shirt I bought a good month ago, and was bringing her breakfast that very same day...When she opened her trailer and got her omlette, she really looked at me strange- it took me this long to piece together the fact that my dumb ass was hovering around her with a representation of her dead ex-husband and baby daddy...But it was still a pretty strange story I thought I'd share- seeing as how also alotta my fellow PAs felt it necessary to offer he their condolences about his passing, when I'm sure she doesn't really wanna hear it from strangers or be constantly reminded...

Side note: I tried DESPERATELY to get a PA'ing gig on TDK, but it was almost fully located in Chicago or another country, and this wasn't really plausible seeing as how I live in Jersey.

Nice story.....Don't know why the other PA's would feel the need to offer up condolences....I know it is the nice thing to do but I would think there is a time and place for that....

I wonder where he got that AMAZING button down shirt...

"Where DOES he get those wonderful.......tops?"

This one appeals to a little bit older of an audience Christopher Nolan said at the screening if the film that he had to ask Heath Ledger to tone it down a bit otherwise I was going to get an R rating that’s how menacing and violent he is.

http://www.femalefirst.co.uk/movies/Ben+Lyons+Talks+Summer+Movies+Part+2-5544.html

why he tone it down? why?

Damn i thought he let him do whatever he wanted to do with the Joker.
