Yes. The old trailer was just extended with more real-life space clips and this new one had, obviously, new footage. Very can definitely sense the 2001 influence. The movie looks gorgeous too.

I get why (the later release date and all that) but I think that's what makes it more hilarious to me.

Judging by the reaction of his appearance, I'd say Nolan still has a strong hold on the fanboys.
