Was it at Nolanfaps? That place is like cyber North Korea.

One of their members use to post on imdb and would talk how he worked and knew Nolan, he would drop ''scoops'' but they were bs. He made duplicate accounts and pretended to be his own brother. Oh lawd. His name was Allstar something, so be on the look out if he ends up making an account on here.

Someone on Reddit is claiming to have seen the film. (No actual spoilers just didnt want to take up a lot of space)

Interstellar 7.5/10
I just want to say that I feel bad because I'm really not any kind of film aficionado. Just someone who likes movies a lot. It was a really, really ambitious and enjoyable film. My rating is based off story, delivery of story, visuals, the music score and a couple other things. Some of you will like it more than I did but this is how I would rate it.

They seemed to like it quite a bit. Said some people came out scratching their head and they were too confused.

This person has hidden spoilers.

A few other notable bits

Yes, if you go watch this movie (which I highly recommend) you will be seeing some significant things that aren't in the trailers.

Q:How good are the special effects as compared to Gravity? Did you enjoy the visuals?

A: I thought they were very good. I think the thing you'll want to keep in mind is Gravity's visuals revolved around real-life things and never traveled far from the atmosphere. Interstellar does a fantastic job of representing the unknown.

Q: Is it a tearjerker?

A:Yes it definitely had its moments! I found myself trying to hold back the tears a couple times.

Every now and then we get lucky and they'll do early screenings on base. Last time it was for After Earth and Will Smith came too, but I didn't see that one. If you all have any questions that aren't too plot revealing, I'd be happy to answer!
Edit: Also just want to say that I read the article on here with Christopher Nolan saying it's more like Space Odyssey. I was definitely getting some Space Odyssey vibes from the film. In the sense that he was using these amazing visuals to try and represent something that is unknown to human eyes. The music score also helped in making these particular scenes good.
Edit 2: There are a couple reasons I didn't rate it higher that in my opinion, give away too much. And while there's the handy-dandy spoiler tag, another user mentioned I should preserve the plot of the film to prevent leakage, which I definitely agree with. I'm really pumped to participate in the official release thread where I'll be able to explain more, but who knows, by then some of you guys might be giving it a 10/10!

Even though he had his issues with the film,
He still seems to have liked it , which is encouraging.

foreign art film director. Funny Games, Code Unknown, The Piano Teacher, Time of the Wolf, Cache, Amour...

don't love all his stuff but i do love Cache and Time of the Wolf.
Those titles do sound vaguely familiar,
But, I have not seen any of them.

I just told Christopher Nolan he redefined the way wormholes look. Likely the last thing he wanted to hear—sorry! Interstellar was amazing!

@jamiezigelbaum what about the performances? do you think there's something oscar worthy?

@lgsolani I don't know about all that, but Matthew McConaughey is again showing something remarkable.
@KevinMorrisWMP

One week until I can break my silence on INTERSTELLAR, my review of which will be appearing in @intlifemag

Just got my IMAX tickets for Nov. 4th! These Twitter reactions are killing me, haha.

^ That is beautiful!

The “Interstellar” secret screening and dinner at the ’21’ Club drew a stellar crowd Sunday night, I am told by some of the invitees. Lorne Michaels didn’t make it, and Charlie Rose only came for dinner. But everyone else on Peggy Siegal’s guest list for Brad Grey’s event considered the night of Paramount importance. Director Chris Nolan, as well as stars Matthew McConaughey, Jessica Chastain and Anne Hathaway were there, ‘natch.

And the heavy hitters included an eclectic group: Oscar winning directors Steve McQueen and Ang Lee, Oscar winner Susan Sarandon, plus Chris Rock, Michael Shannon, Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick, Alison Williams, Laura Prepon, Jake Gyllenhaal, Tony Gilroy, Jon Bon Jovi, Darren Aronofsky, Noah Baumbach, Helena Christensen, Cynthia McFadden, and Robin Roberts.

Did they like it? Yeah, they liked it. What’s not to like? You always get nice ice cream sundaes at ’21’, too

So... I'm calling Best Picture Oscar. The awareness/hype is reaching mega levels, and the real competitors seem to be Gone Girl, Boyhood, and Foxcatcher (and possibly Inherent Vice), all of which will possibly fizzle out by February (not in a negative way; I think Gone Girl is an undeniable masterpiece and the best film of 2014 thus far). I can see Rosamund Pike and Ben Affleck and Steve Carell getting Oscars for acting, but it'll be Nolan and Interstellar that get Director and Picture. I just feel it. This is one of the seminal movies of our time.

Don't underestimate The Imitation Game...

I think Best Picture is The Intimidation Game's to lose.

-Period piece. More specifically WW2.
-Main character is an eccentric British genius.
-Rave reviews surrounding the lead performance (Cumberbatch).
-Won an audience award at a recent film festival.
-Backed by the Weinstein Company.

Hits all the sweet spots for Academy voters. The only movies I can see really challenging it are Boyhood and Mr. Turner. Boyhood has a near perfect score with critics and was a twelve-year undertaking. Mr. Turner also has near-perfect reviews (right now anyway) and the Academy loves their British biopics. Not to mention Timothy Spall's Cannes-winning performance. Foxcatcher's been described as being great but also extremely dark, so I'd say it's chances are slim.

This could be the year Nolan gets his Best Director nomination. Hell, he might even win given the sheer size and spectacle of it all (worked for Cuaron last year). But Interstellar has quite a few formidable films to beat out for the big prize.

Eh. I'm sure it'll be a great film, but this is one of those instances where it's going to be an instant cultural phenomenon, I think. Like Inception, or Avatar, or Gravity, or Dark Knight. Maybe not in terms of box office. There are only a handful of these movies that come out every decade. People will definitely be head over heels for it.

Inception, Avatar, Gravity, and Dark Knight didn't win Best Picture. Hell, the last wasn't even nominated.

There are a lot of good, safe Oscar-bait films this season. And we are still dealing with an Academy that is dominated by old white guys.

The Imitation Game
Boyhood
Mr. Turner
Unbroken

One of those is your winner, methinks.
