This is not a trailer movie. And that's fine because it's the actual film that matters but yeah none of these trailers have been great.

I really loved this trailer, easily the best one by far.

Anne so impressive.

I wonder if that mountain line is Nolan being cheeky with the SW Death Star/Moon line?

Last moment of trailer with Anne.:hrt:

Anyone notice how well their dialogue is actually helmet mic'd audio?

That's very cool and real.

Trailers have been borderline terrible for this, I trust Nolan and McConaughey though

See I think the trailers are decent but they make it look like your run of the mill sci fi film and I like sci fi but I don't rush out to see such films. If it weren't a Nolan film I definitely wouldn't rush out to see it.

Which is why I respect Nolan. We still haven't seen any of the real ''money shots'' Everyone shall bring an extra pair of pants.

I never said I wanted to see all of the money shots, I just said that the trailers are nothing special to me. My feelings have very little to do with my wanting to see the entire film in a trailer.

It's interesting how the trailers have been harder for some to get into.

The visuals look stunning to me, the big emotions are palpable, the chemistry of the cast seems great, the set design looks perfect, the stakes are there, what we don't know of the plot is intriguing, the scale it hints at feels massive.

I have no doubt that for some people the trailers are missing that "thing" that makes you get hyped for a movie, but for me they all ooze goodness. To be fair though, it's been a slow burn because the first couple of trailers didn't show much, but the way they've all built upon each other has made the hype really creep up on me all of a sudden.

I suspect the trailers are a compromise between suggesting scope and emotion and not divulging too many details.

And in terms of the trailers' primary purpose (to get folks to see the movie), methinks there’s much reliance on Nolan’s name. :word:

This girl is going to be a star.

The movie will be an edge of the seat thrill ride plus an emotional story, can't wait !

People will be disappointed if they expect this to be similar to Inception- from the looks of it, this is Nolan trying something different from his Memento/TDK formula we're starting to get accustomed to. Before this trailer I was honestly cautiously optimistic for this (given how TDKR was a disappointment for me), but this trailer really took me abroad the hypetrain; I could finally see that old-school "Spielbergian" movie Nolan was trying to make.

Pretty much no one is expecting that, so.......
