It does. I've seen a couple of regular Hollywood movies on a Dome IMAX and wouldn't recommend it. Granted, I don't think I've seen one that was SHOT for IMAX on the Dome, but I also don't think the different frame size would change my opinion on it.
The last Dome IMAX thing I watched was a first person perspective fly through of the Grand Canyon and other amazing locations. Let me just say Ho...ly...****! That was something else. There was a point where the camera runs towards the cliff and dives head first over the edge. Bout lost my lunch on that one, but it was really cool. That kind of stuff is fantastic on a Dome cause your surrounded and it really makes you feel the motion.
But I really don't understand why they bother with Hollywood movies.
