Biggest plot hole in TDKR for me was Bruce just....getting back into Gotham. Even when I first saw the film that stuck out like a sore thumb to me and my buddy.
Heh, yeah, that was pretty funny. It's not going to get as bad as it was for TDKR though. People went straight off the rails that time.

That´s as much of a plot hole as anything else Batman does in his movies. Why is it so difficult for people to swallow the idea that Bruce could find a way back into Gotham, but have no problem with him being able to do pretty much everything else? It´s Batman. Nothing is logic about Batman, like nothing is logic about Spider-Man or Iron Man.

To be fair...the burning symbol was meant to give Gotham hope/defiantly announce his arrival in order to bait the LOS into a war. Wasn't just for kicks. But still an awesome moment even if you strip away the logic, goosebumps everytime. The fire rises.![]()

I'm not going to read an actual review until I watch the movie, but it seems it's getting pretty good scores.
Wouldn't this have been a better moment for Bale Bats to restore the Bat-Signal?
It would have robbed Gordon of his moment at the end, but I'm sure they could have come up with a nice substitute.
Were you expecting higher? I think I was expecting around 70-85%. And it can still get there. There's not that many reviews up for it. It's only at 26, wait until it gets to around 100+.Yeah, it's still too early to tell how good or bad it's going to do with critics, but It's shocking that it's sitting at around 69% right now.
This is Nolan we are talking about. All the great feats Bruce is able to pull off in these Batman films are explained in great detail. When Bruce first leaves Gotham to train in BB; we see him escape on the ship leaving Gotham. My guess is Nolan had this scene nixed because of IMAX time constraints:
Had this stayed in the film, problem solved.

I actually have more problem with The Prestige's third act than TDK or Inception.
The Prestige relies on a cheat that inserts a sci-fi twist as a deux ex machina.
You serious? It might have been Imax constraints. But he showed you in Begins how he can infiltrate and escape situations. So why does he have to show it here? Nolan left it to the imagination because he already explained how Bruce can do these things. It's not a plot hole if you can explain it or use your imagination easily to come up with an answer. This is Nolan we are talking about. People are telling me that there are crazy amounts of great reviews coming, and RT just haven't updated it yet. I was expecting 80s to 90s since ive read almost hundreds of fantastic reactions, and a dozen or so reviews praising the film. My guess now, is that it will settle in the 80s on Rotten Tomatoes. Were you expecting higher? I think I was expecting around 70-85%. And it can still get there. Me too. I might resist the urge to listen to samples this time and just go into the film cold turkey. But anyways, I really want to hear what Zimmer has cooked up for the score.

Did we really need a 5-10 minute exposition of Bruce traveling on a boat or plane? I'm glad that wasn't in the film. My only beef was Batman just standing there while Talia told her back story. Punch the **** out of her!

The dude had a knife in his ribs and the ***** was twisting it.
Plus nobody wanted 5-10 minute? 1 shot. 1 shot of Bruce walking on ice, bam, done. An early draft "apparently" had Bruce actually showing up in merc gear as if he took one out and disguised himself to get in which would have shown it without a word.
