Understand. The whole Honey I'm Home thing in the comics was hilarious because for one thing Peter and MJ are married. They live together. She knows he is spiderman. She has been aware he wore the black suit. A guy showing up at her house dressed as Peter in a costume he wore was the gag. Saying Honey I'm Home is generally something a husband says to his wife. It's a play on that. It was executed well in the comics. Brock is basing an assumption that there is more going on between MJ and Peter seeing them at the formal. There is no romantic relationship between Pete and MJ. Venom knocking on MJ's door saying Honey I'm Home would be beyond corny in a cartoon that has delivered great lines and quips thus far.

It was also to show Venom's screwy sense of humor (channeling Ward Cleaver).

Right....in the comics. We don't need Ward Cleaver dressed as Venom in this cartoon saying Honey I'm Home.

She rode on his bike. She got unnerved by him . She left. If Brock goes to her house soon as he changes and says that crap that will sound corny as hell.
It wouldn't sound corny if you ask me. I mean, she doesn't have to be dating Brock or being married to Peter for Venom to say that.

It was sadistic. It was sarcastic. And it was funny to us because of the situation in the comics. None of the above applies here. If he shows up at her house in Intervention and says that it has no meaning or relevance behind it. It was intended to be sadistic and sarcastic to MJ. Not because Venom was just sayin it. There is a reason behind him sayiing it. She opens the door and it reminds her of her husband, Peter. It scares her.

In this cartoon....

Knock knock...

*Mj opens the door*

Venom-"Honey, I'm Home"

MJ- WTF

oh they still putting finishing touches on ep 13 huh, well they have a whole week and a few days to go before that one airs. As always we know from you they want to make it perfect so hopefully they get it done in time.

well recent updates say their wont be any breaks from now to the finale, so im guessing they can finish whatever they need to by then based on that estimate.

yea they got all this week and then a few days of next week before it is due to air so yea if it isnt anything major that needs to be touched up then i would think a week and a few days would be more then enough time. I know there is alot of aspects to make a tv/cartoon happen and it is very time consuming and all that.

Yeah, they're probably almost finished by now. I say about a week or so.

So this is the summary for Intervention from wikipedia.

With Aunt May in the hospital, and Eddie's friendship with Peter ruined, Pete's life becomes worse when the alien symbiote intends on taking over him. Now, the friendly neighborhood webswinger must overcome this menace within him, or he'll lose his own mind in the process.

I don't know how reliable it is, but I thought to post it up anyways.

Its real, PJboy posted it on here

Do you guys think this episode will be the most intense episode yet? It really seems like it, but I could be wrong. Also, all the other episodes are intense if you ask me.

"Group Therapy" was really intense and my favorite episode so far. I don't know if "Intervention" will be more intense, although it looks like it, but I think that "Nature VS Nurture" will be the most intense. Peter fighting with Brock, his childhood friend, is going to be very interesting and intense.

I don't think it will be as intense, but it will be an emotional episode.

Yea sounds like it will be a great episode this might be the episode josh keaton mentioned in the podcast the other month saying it was his fav script or maybe it will be episode 13.

I think the most intense episodes so far are Group Therapy, and the Green Goblin episodes.

As much as I like this show, hmmm...the 90's still trumps it. Early days however.

I just feel they're trying to implement things too quickly. It feels slightly off...in particular the Eddie/Peter relationship feels quite odd- he doesnt seem to have that much of a valid motivation to hate Peter.

That defenitely sounds likely.

So much intensity on one page! Hurting....My....Head...
