Charles Gray was terrable as Blofeld. What were Broccolli and Saltzman thinking. After doing 2 films In a row with bald blofeld He now has hair andhe was weak compared to other 2 blofelds.
Considering the character's looks changed in the novels, I thought that it was a nice touch.

Do we get to see Bonds flat in the film. Also is he still wearing Tom Ford suits?

[BLACKOUT]the flat is mentioned (in a comedic way).... it isnt seen - wish it was (after it was mentioned I thought it might be later on) as Ive seen the building in real life[/BLACKOUT]

edit: not really a spoiler at all but just in case

But that doesn't make any sense. You can't watch the films like that.

I really don't like them turning other actors films Into video games feathuring Danial Craig. That's like redoing all bond films In games with Sean Connery's
likeness.Or Imagne If they redid from Goldfinger,Ohmss,Moonraker, and Licence to kill In 2000/2001 with Pierce Borosnan's likeness and voice.

I don't really like idea of 007 legends.Since they rebooted Bond they should be doing original Bond Ideas for video games with Craig's bond not using old films which Craig's films have no Contunity with.

the films dont fit.... but the games do as they have Dench in them.... easy enough to ignore the games

Daniel Craigs Bond is its own series, gonna have to view it that way y'all - although it does appear like alot of time may have passed between QoS and Skyfall

Yeah, Skyfall bond looks alot more weathered compared to QOS bond.

I always said dr no through Die another day are one series. And Casino Royale
onwards are seperate series..They may be bringing In other elements of previous series to new series starting with Skyfall but there Is no contunity between craig's films and other films.

The big question for skyfall for me are there enough elements from previous
series brought In for 50th annivarsy that will allow fans of classic bond to enjoy films. And by classic films I don't mean Casino Royale.

Not mention M is making references that Bond has been in the game a while. Id say Skyfall is set at least a few years after QOS, probably longer.

Do you really need a Bond film to throw in constant references to 50 year old movies to enjoy it?

The previous two Craig movies did have a couple of nice references though. The Aston Martin DB5, the golden girl death pose from Goldfinger in QOS etc. I wouldn't be surprised if there's one or two in Skyfall.

what I mean by elements of classic bond are these

Bond has one liners throughout film
Bond Is womanizer with sex with 2 women during course the film(not at same time)
Bond enjoys gambling
there Is car Chase or similar chase of villains after bond
Bond orders vodaka martini shaken not stirred or someone offers him vodoka
martini shaken not stirred
q Is serious and Bond says one liners while Q shows him the gadgets or gadget
Bond Is given

Naomi looks gorgeous! Based on many reviews Naomi is the better, sexier and more memorable Bond girl.

wow. These pics make It look like naomi looks better In public than from film pics.

Random: Saw Goldeneye and I really think Ms. Judy Dench looks better now than she did back in 1995. I think it was just the make-up of that era because Famke Jannssen looks better hotter now than she did back then too.

Judy is the hottest Bond gal. At least Severan Hydt would think so.

Yes.after reading the 007 magazine review It will help make my mind to see It on opening day or pening weekend or waiiting for DVD like I did for quontum of solace.Die another day was last time I saw bond film on opening weekend.
I saw Casino Royale a couple of weeks Into release.Quontum of solace was first bond film since I started seeing bond films with a View to A Kill back In 1985 at age 11 that I didn't see In theatres.

okay

[BLACKOUT]Bond has one liners throughout film - yesbut similar vein (maybe slightly more comedic though) to QoS

Bond Is womanizer with sex with 2 women during course the film(not at same time) - possibly, he 100% sleeps with one, the other is open to interpretation, I'm not sure if they did or didn't

Bond enjoys gambling - of course

there Is car Chase or similar chase of villains after bond - he is doing the chasing as far as I recall noone chases him directly

Bond orders vodaka martini shaken not stirred or someone offers him vodoka
martini shaken not stirred - he is seen having one... dont remember him ordering it (he mightve though)

q Is serious and Bond says one liners while Q shows him the gadgets or gadget Bond Is given - yes

[/BLACKOUT]

IMO its worth seeing in cinemas - I want to see it again when its released and I rarely see a film in the cinemas twice, I think last one (excluding prometheus because the tickets were free both times) was the dark knight, and before that it might have actually been zoolander!....... then again I REALLY like QoS, so we might have slightly different tastes

By the way, the only thing I think that's overrated about Goldfinger is the theme. By the end of that song, I'm borderline frustrated by the stupid lyrics and occasionally over the top singing.

True, Goldfinger's lyrics are dumb, but at least it's in context with the story of the film. Take the song for Goldeneye. Sure, it's a song about Bond for the most part. It's not a bad song either, but in regards to the title, she's singing about a ****ing satellite.
