You know, how he views Bond. Which is different from others views of Bond. It's why his position doesn't make much sense.

Really? Hmm... needs more Batusi then. Since it's not the Batman others may know.
 
Looks pretty cool. Love the stylish shot of him loading his gun at what looks like a water-themed Tokyo nightclub ( :oldrazz: ).

I was hoping it'd be more stylish or more traditional Bond-ing, but this tone still fits Craig so well. I'm looking forward to the movie.

It's like late 2005 all over again.

Anyway, Mendes said the film will have humor and many known Bond elements e.g Q, Austin Martin, explosions, women, exotic locations. Strangely enough, most of that stuff is in the teaser.
 
Yeah, I forgot to mention that. Mended has mentioned that they are looking back at some of the more classical Bond elements.
 
Funny thing about the s*** storm I just walked into. It seems to me most of the drooling over this movie (in this thread, at least) has been for the cinematography more than anything else. From what I saw in the teaser, the drooling is warranted.

Drool on!
 
Yeah, the chase in Turkey, the London Underground set piece etc.
I remember reading in Empire magazine that Mendes said Bond does not live entirely in the real world and he's not Jason Bourne. Bourne could be standing next to you in the street, but Bond can't do that, he needs his own world.
 
The Intergoration scene Is much like 24 for my tastes.This Is first bond film In 4 years why are they wasting time on Intergoration sequenze.

For all the attacks on Pierce Brosnan's regin as bond now they seem ok with attack on MI6(Shades of the World Is Not enough) and Bond using rifles(Shades of Tomorrow Never
Dies)

With this being rebooted series(which again means as I keep pointing out nothing pre Casino Royale has any relvence In the series anymore) the Astin Martin has no history.q's only connection to well known Q will be name Q.

Despite all the talk It seems from teaser when they mean Classic bond It seems they mean being more like Casino Royale than QoS.I remember when producers keep Instisting by end of Casino Royale Bond would become the Bond audences know.That Clearly didn't happen.

Since I am fan of classic bond films and consider Connery and Brosnon the best and don't praise daniel Craig and the rebooted bond starting with Casino royale I will be bashed.This Is what with Bond now.You don't praise Craig and you are attacked.

Moody? I don't think the public wants Roger Moore in a bright yellow skisuit skiing gracefully with Bond'77 playing in the background as a teaser.

Read one of Ian Fleming's novels to really know what moody really is. The torture scene in Craig's Casino Royale is nowhere near as dark or sadistic as in the original novel.

That isn't an interrogation. It looks to be a psych evaluation with word association rumors seem to back this adsumption up and a mission activation. Psych evaluations are common in this line of work.

Exactly what I thought.

Also what is this talk of Bond before CR stuff? Each Bond has been pretty different. Craig's is just far more badass then the others.
 
Moonraker is well made escapist entertainment that knows what it is IMO. But that debate is for another day.

As I said before, many of you are living in a bubble. The reaction to this teaser isn't the geekasm you guys are getting.

I missed this earlier. But being escapist entertainment isn't an excuse for being a bad movie.
