I want Craig to do four more. At least. He has a shot at being the best ever in the role.

Sadly this is probably not going to happen, I'm guessing two more after Skyfall, the last one they're going to go with a physically older Bond as being part of the story ala Never Say Never Again

Thankfully, we'll get Bond every two years now. So no more delays. Which increases the chances of Craig being in more films.

Yeah but I just don't see that many coming out of it. I think this break has done some damage but ultimately Skyfall looks like it's going to be great.

They really need to consider doing something new with Bond, like with C.R. because as a franchise it is getting stale and I love Bond. Skyfall (as it looks now) should be the norm for the series and hopefully it will be.

Ya we likely will get craig for next one after skyfall. But then of course will be how long then to bond 25 for craig in or out.

I think we'll get at least six Bond films in total from Craig; he's mentioned repeatedly that he wants to stay in the role for as long as he can and EON supposedly want him to rival Roger Moore's lengthy stay.

Even if they don't switch actors for another 5 years, Fassbender would only be 40.

Additionally, on that last, is your last name Broccoli by any chance? Or are you some kind of industry Nostradamus? They aren't discussing anyone else right now, but that doesn't point to any direction in the future.

Look, just forget Fassbender because it aint happening, simple as that. His star power is increasing and unlike past Bonds who were considered, Fassbender has never been offered or auditioned for the role. With him appearing as magneto, him in promethius and other big projects he'll likely be involved in over the next 5 years at least, his potential casting as Bond just won't happen. However, feel free to believe what you want, I'm not stopping you, I just feel holding a candle in the hope of Fassbender ever being Bond is a waste of time and to live in false hope.

^^ Perplexed aswell. I'm more than pleased to see plans for Bond 24 are already in motion.

I think Craig will do one more after Skyfall. Two tops.

Yeah, why would anyone be disappointed? We have Craig coming back and possibly Sam Mendes also.

Ya two more is likely out of craig. But like I said it probabbly all counts on how long from 24th is released and 25th goes into production on keeping craig. If they can get back on a two yr schedule then its more likely craig will stay. If we have any longer break that wouldn't be a good sign.

Not at all.

5 is a good number and nothing to sneeze at. I'd be satisfied if that's what Craig ends at. Batman's highest film actors are Keaton (2 films) and Bale (3 films). That's Dalton and Craig (if Skyfall was his last).

We all agree that Craig is the Bond of the post 9/11 world yes? The first Bond who hasn't been part of the Cold War?
I'm thinking that EON see's Craig as this era's Sean Connery, so I think minimum, absolute minimum of 6 films in total, to help give this era steady legs to work on. Craig himself said that he wants to help keep the series alive as long as he can.

I thought the first Bond after the Cold War was Brosnan? M even kinda referenced it in Goldeneye when she called him "a relic of the Cold War".

Brosnan's Bond was an active participant of the Cold War,whos films took place just after it ended.
Craig's Bond was never apart of the Cold War, that's what I meant.

Craig has said he would play Bond until they ask him to stop so unless he has a change of heart he is our Bond for the forseeable future.

I hope EON doesn't treat Craig wrong like they did with Brosnan.

He was game for a 5th movie but then they said "Sorry nope, We're going with Daniel Craig and rebooting the franchise"

In the aftermath of that we had

-Brosnan slightly poking fun of Craig for injuring two teeth

-Brosnan saying that he never saw "Casino Royale" due to a plane malfunction that happened twice.

It doesn't matter what EON says. They once said they wanted to do more films with Brosnan.Yet they were totally willing to dump him(which by the way was first time In
James Bond film history they did that) so Criag will defently be back for 2014 Bond film but besides that I wouldn't make any bets.
