New production video about costume design.

Man, you've got to watch this one. Some excellent footage to be had. I'll describe just a few: Craig in full tuxedo Bond mode inside the casino, beautiful shot of Bond and Severine on the deck looking across the ocean and Bond and M in what looks to be a warehouse type interior with the DB5.

Take a look for yourself: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mEeIRhkMnSM&feature=player_embedded

There's a classy sheen about the whole production.

Funny, as awesome as the teaser trailer was this video blog got me much more excited for the film.

Yeah same here. I just keep marveling at how awesome the individual components are shaping up, and how much the photography amplifies it all. Just beautiful, beautiful footage they're cranking out. THAT'S how you shoot a film!

I have to say that Live and Let Die's boat chase dragged a bit too long, even though that was an action scene. It began to get dull after a while too. Some of it wasn't even scored and was like filming some home video footage of someone sailing and then subjecting others to it later. It's interesting to the person who did the sailing, but to those not involved, tons of unedited footage is just tedious.

I loved the Live and Let Die boat chase with one exception. Some of the best stunt work in the series and easily my favorite boat chase in the series.

The exception, of course, is the presence of JW Pepper.

Nice video on costumes. And sweet news about craig working on commericals. As for height he doesn't seem that short to me. So I believe the 5'10 listing.

It doesn't matter, anyway. Bane is being played by a guy who is 5'9" at an absolute maximum, but no one will notice.

New pic from SF.

I like the picture in there of Bond wearing a Wax jacket with a shotgun over his shoulder, that one looks great.

Nice picture. I don't know where this fits in narratively, being in a art gallery. But I like it a lot. Gives a feeling of culture and class, literally being nice window dressing.

I don't know if this was posted before, but David Arnold and Shirley Bassey actually did a theme for Quantum of Solace. But it was rejected, even though some of the track is heard in the film without vocals, like parts of 'Surrender' by K.D Lang was in Tomorrow Never Dies.

It's not a bad song, but it didn't do much for me. It didn't elicit any kind of emotion, and fell flat for me. I can understand why it was rejected.

that rejected track is actually damn good.....

I thought the lyrics fit better for the movie. While it doesn't pack the punch like how I prefer a Bond theme, it's still a good song.

Still prefer Another Way to Die - if there was only a way of taking either one of Jack White or Alicia Keys off the track then it would be pretty damn good. As it is, I just listen to the instrumental.
