condemned my ass.
Yes including right here on this very messageboard by myself and other posters.
condemned my ass.
condemned my ass.
He work for Disney?
Pretty much daily. If not just harming children in other ways. Dead baby jokes, leaving them in hot cars, etc. And he used to have a television show. And he is on literally every Comedy Central roast. Still on Netflix, etc.
He's known for disavowing all comedic boundaries. If he were to draw a line, then he's basically claiming all the other jokes he made were okay to make.
That's what I respect about true shock humor.
I can't believe some of the people defending Gunn. Did you guys read his tweets. How does someone make thousands of jokes about violating children? There was even one tweet where he had a link to a 'manual' written by a paedophile. The police need to investigate him. No one makes that many 'jokes' on just one subject matter
Theres shock horror and then there's linking actual paedophile manuals that you can buy
I gotta say, maybe we should be talking about whoever is selling/publishing that book rather than the dude linking to it...
So it has nothing to do with Disney's decision then. But hey, you wanted to compare this to being an alcoholic and drug abuser, so that makes sense.Nope. Here's hoping Disney doesn't eventually own Comedy Central or Netflix... -_-
Unless I'm mistaken, James Gunn wrote that he was sexually abused when he was younger when all the MeToo stuff was going around. I'm not a psychologist but maybe his edgelord jokes back then were a way for him to deal with it while getting a rise out of people.I know plenty of people who joke about traumatic stuff to cope with it.
Even then, he apologized and has been a different kind of person these days. To fire him now is jusy Disney covering their ass and nothing more.

Why would you link and spread something like that around though?

Who the hell you people think you are telling us what is apropiate or not for a joke?
Nearly killing yourself because of a disease is the same thing as talking about raping kids, repeatedly? In what world?Commentary on companies that manage to stay in business working with indecent individuals...
separate from my commentary on people redeeming themselves in the public eye after years of indecent behavior.
I mean, I'm open to discussing any of these topics with you. And apparently you are open to it as well!![]()
I guess people will have to hashtag #ThatsTheJoke or /sarcasm until a new way of telling jokes in the written form is invented.
Otherwise no tasteless stuff on Twitter. Or the Internet.
Heck maybe we should start delivering licenses to those wanting to make offensive jokes.
