I bet we'll only be seeing a powered-down Electro in a first picture where we will see his attire, but won't be seeing his powers being shown.

Keep in mind we didn't get a first look at the Lizard for FOREVER. Granted, he was CGI, but still... how much of Electro might be CGI?

Not much outside of sequences that can only be achieved w/ 100% CGI.

We'll definitely get a look at Electro much sooner than we did for Lizard

We'll definitely get set pics within the next month. The real question is when will they begin filming with the new Spidey suit and with Foxx in suit.

Reason being because not only will we get set pics of the new suit but chances are they will do what they did last time and release a official picture before they start filming with the costume(s) and possibly even reveal the title as well, which they did with a second official picture in Feb. 2011 after the first in January.

I bet that they'll show a glimpse of the powered up Electro in the teaser, in the way that you can only kinda make out what it looks like, but when you finally see it clearly in the next trailer it'll be like "oh so THIS is what it looks like!"

Exactly. Many people are forgetting that The Lizard was a full CG creation. We will definitely not have to wait as long for our look at Electro.

Yep.

They didn't finish work on Lizard until about 3 months out from release I believe. Hence why we never got a full look at him.

Not even any official photos. There may have official photos of Lizard. Tops.

Yeah. I imagine that the VFX this time aroung will be much more polished considering they don't have to devote so of the VFX budegt to a single character model.

Yeah, I agree. Considering how much went into creating Lizard, I give them credit for what they accomplished with him visually.

Basically Foxx talks about Django (debuts this weekend in UK) says his 4 year old daughter had a Spider-Man party at Halloween. Says his daughter asked if he was Spidey and he said he was the villian and she replied 'that means Spider-Man is going to beat you up'

Yeah this interview is about...3-4 wks old? Read it too. Made sense to me, if they're filming in February-ish, I'm sure they've been building sets months prior. He also mentioned the make up tests..but I think we've all read that

Sony did a fantastic job of not revealing Lizard for ages and not even concept art.

I partially wish it had nothing to do with Spidey as it would seem off to me...Batman goes to Hong Kong in the sequel...Spider-Man goes to London in the sequel.

If it's about Gwen Stacy taking some time off there, or maybe Harry leaving London to fly back to the states, then that would be cool.

Only stating fact. It would indeed seem silly that Spidey goes overseas in the sequel as we've seen it before with another sequel that gave TAS-M so much inspiration already.
