Does anyone think that Electro will give Spider-Man 2's Doc Ock a run for his money? I really wonder how I am going to rank him among my Spider-Man movie villain's list. So far:

1. Doc Ock
2. Green Goblin
3. The Lizard
4. New Goblin
5. Sandman
6. Venom

I hope I can put Electro at least above Green Goblin. Idk about Rhino though.

I think Rhino is going to be best of them all...."WHY" you ask....because he the only villain to start off as a bad ass before he became a villain.

Please expand on that. I don't think Connors was dumb, he kind of just... lost his mind after taking the Lizard serum.

I was talking about the Rhino, sorry for the confusion. A previous poster had said that Rhino would be the best villain because he was a villain before getting powers, unlike the others. I liked Connor's in TASM, Rhino is just a big dumb thug most of the time.

Oh, haha. My bad. Yeah I think Rhino is one of the dumbest villains, though in his first appearance in the comic books, he mentions that both his strength and intelligence have been increased.

Rhino was always a good side villain IMO, and I'm glad they have decided to put him in this film. He is destruction incarnate.

True, and Paul Giamatti is a great actor (and a Rhino fan apparently). Maybe he can give Rhino a little more dimension than he has in the comics.

I think Paul will make Aleksei/Rhino rather entertaining. So glad they found a classy actor who actually loves the villain he is playing.

I'm fine with it. Electro should be extremely powerful (maybe his powers grow and evolve over the course of the film). Electro could be the most powerful foe Peter has faced in any of the movies, and might have to use his smarts to win.

I think it's wickedly cool and sounds like we may get a vision of Electro that will rival the comic counterpart and maybe then some!

I actually don't expect him to find out or to even be that curious in the first place. Spidey could fight him maskless for a while, but Electro probably wouldn't even care. "Peter Parker" wouldn't ring any bells to him.

Why would it matter to him? Connor's finding out was a big deal since he knew both Peter and his parents. Maybe if Max knows Gwen, it could become an issue (if she's still at Oscorp, they may know each other as colleagues). Other than that, Spiderman is who Electro really hates.

Indeed, it grew tiresome. I was fine with Goblin and Doc Ock but not so much Sandman.

I actually don't think Rhino will find out, either. Ever. Even if he appears in ASM3 and/or ASM4, he won't find out.

GG, Doc Ock, Harry, Venom, and The Lizard finding out all made sense from story perspective. Sandman finding out was pointless and Electro doesn't need to know either.

I guess I can let it go because it made sense for most of them, but by the end of the trilogy I was tired of that plot point, same as MJ being kidnapped in all three films.

It's not as simple as just beating him up and Electro doesn't seem as though he can be reasoned with. So this all has got me really curious as to how exactly Spidey will come out on top.

I'm not super well versed with Electro in the comics, so I'm sure there's something in there that'd probably answer all that. But I kinda like being in the dark with this one.

I think we will see "can Spider-man be Peter Parker" I am sure Peter knowledge and intelligence will beat Electro in combination with his powers. Probably will be something with web-shooters as Webb said Spider-man main weapons are webshooters, specially when he said later that webshooters and webbs can conduct electricity. So i think, Peter will make new formula for his web-shooters (who can't probably conduct electricity) and use them for protecting his wrist when he can punch Electro.

The Sinister 6 movie just keeps looking more and more likely. Sony is going where no superhero movie has gone before... Instead of teaming up heros, he's teaming up villains... I love it.
