He said he was a genius electrician not a hacker and telling from the background a big Spider-man fan like he said. Different from nerd type having an Afro or flattop hairdo. I like it.

I like it. A lot. Just hope he gives this guy pathos and doesn't do some cross-eyed nerd stereotype over the top hamfest.

I'm sure it'll be a reprise of his character from the beginning of Collateral. unconfident, stuttering, etc... I'm sure it'll be subdued and serious though. The look is over the top nerd though, which is funny considering that Webb was so adamant that the nerd stereotype was outdated- Hence, no nerdy Peter Parker.

I just expected him to look like regular Jamie with glasses. I admit the loser look is a little overkill. But at least some people, the ones that complained that he didn't look enough like a loser, should be happy.

Yes, the overkill nerd route is way too much, but it's to be expected. It provides more contrast when he transforms(?) I would prefer the much more subtle route, just a normal looking Jaime Foxx with mental issues. But no, we get the over the top, "hollywood" nerd/stalker interpretation.

But seriously, Carry's Riddler was the first thing I thought of...not saying it's good or bad because anybody who knows me know that I enjoy all the Batman films but it was indeed the first thing that popped into my head.

Nah. Looks fine to me. I do think the blur warps it a bit. It looked fine in the one frontal set picture we got of the mask.

Back to subject, it LOOKS like they stucked to Electro's origin well just through modern translation with a bit of their own taste.
