they could easily give a nod to 616 further by having green and yellow stitching or something along those lines, but i don't see them doing that.

I don't either. Although they did use the lizard's lab coat a tiny tiny bit. Makes me think what kinda nod they'll use for electro.

How about a moment when he gets super-charged and electricity forms a shape like the original 616 mask around his eyes for a brief moment?

Or have him try to come up with a costume, draw the original suit and then realize he's trying NOT to be a loser now? Decides to go with leather to appear "cool"?

I think Electro's suit will just be straight up black leather with a collar (no lightning bolt shape though).

that'd be pretty great lol. kind of obvious like the yellow spandex line in x-men, but still, i like it.

I actually like the electricity form idea. Maybe it could form for a bit, but just flash.

I think so too. According to that girl's reports a while back, it had a thick collar. I assume it will also have little tid bit designs to suit as well of course.

I'm excited about Electro being in this, he's my fave villian next to Hobs. So far, things have been looking awesome.
1. An oscar winner playing him.
2. He will be an electrical engineer named Max Dillion.
3. SM's gotta use his brain to defeat him. Unless water is brought into it :P.
4. Great visual effects.

Does anyone else hope that they mimic the comics and have Electro initially beat Spider-Man and actually make him beg for his life?
I remember that story, it was one of the most intense comics I've ever read for the character - moreso because Spidey came back for Electro like a Goddamn lunatic and started slapping him around - which caused Electro to have a psychotic episode and nearly destroy New York...

er.. he was in the 90's TV Series.

He was indeed, but not Max Dillon in the costume. It was Red Skulls son, Rheinholt Kragov.

I hope he seems a bit more of a threat than the Lizard did. If the Lizard had gone further with his plan of turning the city into lizards that would have upped the ante but it was never clear during that movie what he actually wanted to do. It was actually clear in the Raimi movies why the villains were doing what they were doing. Which was in my opinon, a fatal flaw in ASM that needs some making up in ASM2.

Now that's just bollocks. How much clearer did Connor's message have to get? His warped mind saw the human body as inferior, and his goal was to turn everyone into just like him. Compare that to Green Goblin's goal. He wants to rule New York. And then? How is he going to do that? How is randomly bombing places and harassing Spider-Man going to help him conquer the city? The Lizard had a goal and clear plan how to accomplish it.

and...so does Hawkeye in Ultimates.....(mostly, albiet with a bit of red).

The lightning collar I'd be happy without, but if there was like a lightning motif somewhere on the suit, as a nod to his 616, then I'd be happy.

what does your signature mean? (not the part about AG)

Is Red Skull racist?

Are you asking if the character is a racist?

Yes I believe he would be considering he is a pretty hardcore Nazi. But I'd say he takes Aryan to a whole new level. He probably believes he is even better than his fellow Nazis.

Exactly! I never understood why people didn't understand Lizard's plan. It was stated throughout the movie that Connors wanted to cure sickness and the Lizard-Serum did this. He realized that humans are inferior and that giant Lizards are superior so he wanted to convert everyone. Nothing too complicated to understand and it was stated twice in the film.

Yeah. That part made sense. The only part that didn't was that the lizard serum only lasted for so long. So that was where his plan got iffy. I mean, was he planning on regularly dosing the city every few hours?

TASM is still far and away my favorite Spidey film, but it does have some flaws. Some of them come from Sony's stupid last minute editing, but even then some of the original script was kinda iffy.

I guess that he may just give them doses everyone once and a while. Or all of that serum in the air would have made them be lizards forever. Maybe the serum in the needle just wore off so making so much of it would of overdosed people and now your always lizards. I dunno.

Yeah. It was just one of those things that needed explaining more. And could have been fixed very quickly. Throw in a line to say that Conners developed a new forumula that will make the change permanent and that was the serum he was planning to use on the whole city.

That was the frustrating thing about it. It was really an easy little fix.

Connors did say that he increased/strengthened the dosage so that the mutation of NY would last a lot longer. Sure that probably another dosage of the city would've been needed at some point but if you think about it, Connors wouldn't need to do much again. The Lizardmen would already do it themselves or would help him to dose the city again making his work a lot easier.

The serum doesn't just turn people into giant lizards; it makes them delusional. It acts like a drug to the user and makes him/her really believe that they are now superior and have reached perfection, as we have seen with Connors. Thus it is safe to assume that once the first dose would've gotten completely into people's heads, their mind would be corrupted by it just like any other drug and wouldn't have wanted to turn back into humans when the time would've came for that to happen.

I agree with you on Sony's last minute stupid editing. TASM is the first movie I ever saw the deleted scenes of and asked myself "Why wasn't that in the movie?????? :cmad:". I feel that all those scenes missing really took away from the movie. What would've been a great/fantastic film ended up being just a good film.

There's tons of deleted scenes that I felt should of been in the film. The Avengers is a good example.

Avengers' deleted scenes weren't a huge issue. You could easily tell that TASM deleted a lot of scenes on the other hand.

Especially if you see the pre-visualization reels:

Ugh. The more and more deleted scenes I find out about, the more and more I think about how fantastic this movie could've been. It's not a bad movie by any means. In fact, I think that it is a good movie. But that's my point. This could've been great. Fantastic. Instead, it was just good. I hope the sequel doesn't suffer from the same stupid last minute editing.
