Avengers' deleted scenes weren't a huge issue. You could easily tell that TASM deleted a lot of scenes on the other hand.

I thought the scenes of the military and people added a lot to the movie. But I suppose it was too dark.

Well then again, I never consistently kept up with the updates and news on Avengers like I did with TASM and TDKR, so I wouldn't notice if anything big was taken out like I did with TASM and TDKR.

The end to the Lizard fight at school, when he has his mask off makes so much more sense. God the editors made some booboos here!

Be awesome if the script comes out one day. See how it all came together.

Ugh. The more and more deleted scenes I find out about, the more and more I think about how fantastic this movie could've been. It's not a bad movie by any means. In fact, I think that it is a good movie. But that's my point. This could've been great. Fantastic. Instead, it was just good. I hope the sequel doesn't suffer from the same stupid last minute editing.

This was my biggest qualm with TASM. The awful, awful editing. It made everything feel rushed (even though the film was 135 minutes). It spent too much time/took too long on scenes that should've ended sooner and spent too little time on scenes/sequences that should've been longer. Ugh. Such a waste.

I know it sounds crazy and kinda unconventional, but what would be sweet is if right before the release of TASM2, they had a re-release of TASM re-edited with a lot of the deleted scenes that don't alter the story too much added back in. Only have it in theaters for like a week, to get that movie fresh in the minds of the GA and also as a promotion for TASM2.

It seems like so many people want a directors cut, and this could be a good way to provide one. Get a petition started!

Let us thank the heavens that Jamie Foxx is not wearing a giant yellow lightning star on his face. I can't believe anyone thought the character would wear that.

It would have been like expecting Alfred Molina to wear an orange and green suit in Spidey 2.

I thought the bridge scene was good . It was the "property of Peter Parker" bit that didn't work for me.

Considering that's one of the biggest scenes Marc was worried about. They shot that in like 2-3 different places? And pieced it together. Said he wanted to maintain the emotional intensity and everything the whole time.

Yeah. I really wish they had kept that. Hopefully they recycle some of the themes in TWS.

I loved The Amazing Spider-Man, but my biggest gripes were with the editing and some of the writing (more with Lizard than anything else).

I definitely want The Amazing Spider-Man: Director's Cut some day. It happened with Daredevil, and I absolutely loved it's first cut.

I don't get why Daredevil gets so much hate. Sure it wasn't perfect, but it was still pretty damn entertaining

I re-watched it recently. It starts strong but falls apart around the mark where...

...Matt follows Elektra (whom he meets in a coffee shop) and has an epic kung-fu battle with her on a playground complete with cheesy humor and kids cheering.

Its a bit of a combo of the current appearance USM Electro and Electro from The Spectacular Spider-Man cartoon.
