Looking at the casting and characters, this looks like this is going to be a brilliant film. I'm particularly excited to see Electro and Harry.
So what if we've already seen his 'costume.' Being a hoody and jeans. Maybe Marc Webb wanted the more 'down to earth' look for Electro in keeping with the realism thing. If that is the case I will hate him forever as a director!!

Jamie himself as well as extra's who have seen concept art confirmed that he will have a formal costume.
It has been said many times here before that though; that hoodie and jeans IS NOT HIS SUIT.

I wish they never changed the original costumers for the spider villains
I wish Raimi was still producing the spider films with classic costumers for villains like Electro, Shocker, and Rhino...
I can't stand Jamie Foxx. I refuse to support someone who believes space doesn't exist and we are not living on a planet, but rather inside a giant box governed by tiny orphans. Has this idiot gone mad? And let's not forget the barely covered story of the time he went on a thieving spree in Walmart and stole nothing but a bag of chocolate covered pretzels, leading in the police into what would become a high speed chase resulting in the deaths of 14 innocents and 3 cops. This despicable prick makes me sick.

Spider-man and Sandman were the most faithful designs
Green Goblin didn't have purple(don't really mind the design) but alot of people called it a green Power Rangers armor
Doctor Octopus just wore a trenchcoat as well as sunglasses or goggles depending on the scene that he took off(compared to white business suit, green and white/yellow or purple jumpsuits) and honestly the only time I saw the movie Doc Ock look in the comics with the Ultimate Spider-man Hollywood arc,
Venom was just a Black Spider-man costume with the Venom symbol and face
and I don't even wanted to get started with Harry New Goblin look.
Webb series:
Spider-man- first costume was sort of like a slimmer Rami costume with sneakers at bottom of boots and sunglasses for eyes while the second costume was a mix of Rami costume, Mark Bagley and John Romita Jr. Spider-man costume
Lizard- design inspired by Steve Ditko original Lizard
Electro looks like he's basically Ultimate Electro(post Ultimate Six) while his costume sounds like the original Ultimate Electro containment suit
And although we still don't what Rhino looks like everyone has compared it to Ultimate Rhino armor
Honestly to me they're both tied in terms of faithfulness and accuracy to the comics

Actually the GG did have hints of purple in the paint
Wait what...?
I really wish I can add the Magneto "Perfection" line fro X-Men FC for this one.
Really? I never saw close ups of his costume so I could be wrong? Do you mind posting a close up picture for an example.
to me in term of accuracy/faithfulness of Rami design look to the comics look
-Sandman
-Spider-man
-Venom
-Green Goblin
-Doctor Octopus
-Harry Osborn New Goblin
Webb Spider-man is more of Ultimate Spider-man with 616 influence here and there with some characters
with Webb in terms of faithfullness based on everything I see.
-ASM Sequel costume
-Electro(to Ultimate Design)
-Lizard(to Steve Ditko original design)
-ASM First costume(had similarities to different Spidey costumes)
while with Webb
yeah the costume was painted two toned...with green being the primary and purple showing up in the highlights
no worries...i didnt catch it on my first go round on the movie

But, I can see why you think that.
