Marc didn't say he would BARELY be in the film, but he did say he's not in it "that much".

He said this in the recent EW issue.

Are you just that against a mechanical Rhino, or do you just want very little of him period, regardless of the version?

i think maybe they will use rhino early on when spidey is still "having a blast". rhino is just a surrogate for a bunch of thugs perhaps? he serves to distract spider-man from his school work, personal life in general, investigating oscorp etc. it's as spidey is having fun battling rhino and regular street crime that max becomes electro, harry starts slipping into some kind of funk, and stresses at home and school begin to catch up with peter spreading himself too thin.

to actually have rhino as a secondary villain all throughout the movie may be too much, i agree.

I think possibly although Rhino may be a rare sighting, Paul G. will appear numerous times through out the film. I contend, Rhino's role will be larger then what some of you think.

I can't wait to see what Foxx does in this role, hopefully he's one of the more memorable CBM villains even if his suit is a bit boring.

TSSM had some great quips with Rhino over the episodes. If they could create something along those lines they'll have the audiences in stitches.
