Leto looks incredible as the Joker in those pictures, especially in the one where he is in the straightjacket talking to Harley.

    Joker looks amazing
In fact that scene with Harley will probably surpass the stuff they did in BTAS

The new look isn't the shock that it once was. I'm used to it now, and think Leto's lookin' good as the Joker.

This is the first thing I thought of when I saw the Empire cover.

    Anyone else?

Dr. Quinzel's outfit in the film is almost identical to that of her comic book counterpart. Love it.

So he has classic purple jacket, just that it's completely different. That's also fine. As long as their version of it is there.

I'm still meh on his look. Leto will own the role though.

I'm assume you're referring to the Riddler in that scene?

Yeah there is some similarity. I wonder what would have been more of a shock a few years ago the Joker we have now in SS or if we got a Riddler as how he looked in "Joker"?

Both Harley and Joker look perfect in that photo IMO – love the straight jacket look for Mr J.
Also the cover image... long purple coat, cane, green hair, white skin, red lips... looks like the Joker to me! :woot:

It's still a very ordinary look IMO, especially considering how comic accurate they went with Batman.

Call me crazy, but I love it. I think he looks sick.

I think the straitjacket picture shows how effective his look is. He looks like a deranged clown which is.. you know... what the Joker looks like across every medium.

Hate it. Pimp looking shiny jacket, tattooed bared chest, bare feet (last time I saw that on the Joker was in that crappy looking version in The Batman cartoon).

    Awful.

The best shots are the ones where the tattoos are mostly hidden. That's why the straight jacket pic looks good. His ugly chest tattoos are hidden, and it's a sideways shot so you can barely see the damaged tattoo. The dark lighting also helps hide them.

He looks fantastic on that Empire cover. I didn't have a problem with all the tattoos to begin with, but the addition of that vivid purple jacket and cane really brings out the classic Joker vibe.

I would hate to be in your position, because the Damaged tattoo hasn't bothered me since the initial 75th anniversary pic. It's just part of his face now.

the joker in comics has looked much more pimp-esque before though, fedora and all.

I can't get over how great that Empire cover looks. The colors are fantastic. Eye-popping.
