This is about the fourth time I've seen someone comment on this after watching BvS. What sort of advanced mental gymnastics are being used to come to that hypothesis? I'm clueless.

Forget it Jekecy, its SHH

I also didn't get this. I watched it and didn't see anything pointing to this...
not to say it couldn't happen, I just didn't get any references to this being the case.

Jason Todd again. I can imagine him spraying his own suit and breaking the spear to several pieces.

But if that happens (let's not exclude that after BvS), holy my... Internet will explode with ****.

Meh I think he could've been referring to people like Two Face. Though with all the dumb decisions Snyder makes it wouldn't surprise me anymore

So with DC set to reveal the Joker's true identity (which I think is wrong), should we get it in the filmverse?

Say Joker is Jason Todd (I like the idea), that would be a GREAT reason why Batman doesn't kill the Joker seeing as thats been brought up alot. Batman won't kill him because it's his protege and he raised him like a son. Would actually be kind of brilliant.

It would make the most sense.

It's a wonder indeed. If he was initially adamant on killing Superman to protect the world, why wouldn't he have done the same to the man hellbent on destroying his beloved city countless times over?

It would be a great little twist too me, but I can already here the negative backlash from everyone on here if that happened.

I've always been a fan of the idea that the Joker is a brainwashed Jason. But yeah, the response by many has been negative.

I'm baffled by that decision. What would knowing his true identity add to the character? Nothing. It would only take away mystery.

What is this? :funny: Has the Nu-52 sunk even lower since I abandoned it a couple of years ago?

I don't know why it's happening and I'm quite flabbergasted. Joker is the embodiment of every element of crime: anonymous, randomness, anarchy, madness... to give him an identity, it attacks those important core elements and sucks out what makes him the personification of crime itself... He should remain a mysterious devil, not given the name and identity of a man...

Batman doesn't have any guns on the Batmobile during the flashback in Suicide Squad and Alfred commented on Batman branding the human trafficker with the line "new rules?" and Joker still has his loyal gang with him in the movie in both, the flashback scenes with him torturing Harley in Arkham and scenes taking place in the modern day. If Batman decided not to kill Joker because he's really Jason, then why didn't he kill Johnny Frost, Harley, or even a Batman villain that's not associated with the Joker, like Killer Croc?

Was it even implied in BvS that he's gone on killer missions before attempting to eliminate Superman?

Every kill he made in BvS was more or less based on pure disregard. He's not like The Punisher going on a crazed mission to kill everybody in the room... that was only with Superman. But, for all we know, he hasn't done something like that before, so that would mean any time he's come close to killing the Joker or his goons, would be if they lobbed a greande at him and he threw it back.

This was my thought too after seeing BVS. Joker would be dead somewhere in a ditch if Batman was this stone-cold killer everyone claims. I think giving him back his humanity at the end was great - but damn the damage has already been done. Isn't that Joker's entire existence to tempt Bats into killing.

//If Joker is Jason Todd (God please no) then that would take away from a REDHOOD Solo film unless they completely changed it up
