Jared Leto IS The Joker - - - Part 12

He's not Jason Todd. Stop it.

David Ayer was very specific about following canon.

This was my thought too after seeing BVS. Joker would be dead somewhere in a ditch if Batman was this stone-cold killer everyone claims. I think giving him back his humanity at the end was great - but damn the damage has already been done. Isn't that Joker's entire existence to tempt Bats into killing.

//If Joker is Jason Todd (God please no) then that would take away from a REDHOOD Solo film unless they completely changed it up

Batman going rampage like he did in BVS actually works for the universe.
Indeed it was stated he 'marks' his 'victims/arrests' now, he did not do that before. Batman never stood for killing, but he unleashed lead havoc on any of the bad guys, he literally took guns from the badguys when rescueing Martha Kent and shot them from point blank without a twist.

Batman was 'away' for years, that much was clear. lets state it as inactive.
Superman's appearence caused him to come out of retirement but really brutal and gritty - Lex stated he pushed him, which could be, but lets just add that to the flavour.

so before the superman metropolis events from MOS, batsy probably did not murder. he def did not kill joker or other badguys. now, however he did.

this is a brilliant base for a standalone batman movie that follows the BvS events, with the Joker hammering in on batfleck on losing his moral, and causing a great story battle with joker aiming on batman wanting to kill him, but he's probably got an ace of spades, where if bats kills joker, someone precious or important will die, and the justice league can't interfere - bats on his own vs joker. they could indeed do a redhood in there causing more psych mayhem for batfleck.
they could end with joker 'escaping' alive or finally dying like in the comic movie. i'd love joker to have a way of setting luthor free.

Alright this made me understand it more. I should've realized Bats didn't kill before Superman showed up. Explains why none of the Suicide Squad members are dead either. (i know SS happens after)

And yes I think the Jason Todd theory is ******ed too - it's just you hear it enough times :loco:

SPEAKING OF LUTHOR.
There's a scene in Suicide Squad where Joker is walking in a "Clean Room" where there are nuclear devices. You can see the sign on the mirrored wall in front of him. I think Lex is helping him.

Ah, Christ... he's gonna be the Joker from the NES game. All machines and **** doing his work for him!

Which game is that ? I only remember the one where the Joker looks like a giant compared to Batman.

I loved Batman the Movie on the C64. Who said a cassette game couldn't be dark and gritty?

Edit: is this Jack Nicholson's first appearance in a video game? Are there others?

That's not the NES game. What is this? I'm not sure if I've seen this before. :hmm

Ohhhh, ok. I've never beat The Return of The Joker on NES. I've only played the Genesis version, and it sucks.

So that is the NES version. Cool. I was totally wrong. Thanks for clarifying that.

Hahahahaha

That game was dumb as sh** but it was so much fun. Especially the boss levels where you suddenly had like 1,000 hit points.

I've still got it :D By God it's a tough game... still haven't competed it.

I don't think Lex is helping him. He's in jail. But I believe Joker gets his hands on some technology from Krypton.

Also nice to know there's no turrets on Batmobile, it aligns with my point that the chase is taking after BvS events. Means Joker is at large during Batman v Superman.

well just seeing Lex in any capacity on SS would be awesome (hopefully a scene w Joker) :hmr:

I think it was the first and only appearance of Jack in VG.

We never had a Shining game. Would've been hilarious to play the kid and being hunted by Jack in the maze in one of those one-level-only consoles :hehe:

I think I am right in saying that there was an 8-bit Texas Chainsaw Massacre game in which the player controlled Leatherface.

It's funny seeing people talk about Lex Luthor...

In that last scene of his, in prison, at first when he entered his cell and the lights went out, I thought it was going to be Amanda Waller who appeared to tell him about Task Force X.

I don't know how they'd do it, but I'd be all for having Lex Luthor show up in the film just so that he and Joker could share screentime. That for me is as cool as Batman and Superman sharing the screen.

You are indeed correct. Old Leatherface getting himself stuck with just the graze of a pixel :hehe:
