Jared Leto IS The Joker - - - Part 12

Jared Leto's performance looks great so far. But I still don't think the design was necessary. Well, it's happening anyway, gotta learn to live with it

Though something tells me that the next director is gonna change the design slightly

He will probably keep the tattoos, but
I'd like to point out in this image

No tattoos on his face. I believe he has actually painted his face in clown makeup though, judging by the obviously painted mouth.

You can see just barley in that picture, something peaking out from the left side of shirt. This is probably his jester tat, meaning he hasn't lost them in anyway.

So, he goes through different paint jobs on the face?

That would be a good way to handle the character. You get the best of both worlds. A Nicholson joker with features that are PERMANENT (pale skin, green hair) and you get a Ledger joker that dolls himself up in a clown facade.

Also can we talk about this image

What is this 'crime scene' joker has constructed?

One of the things I didn't notice right away until I looked at the left side of the image, is that this is shot with a fish eye lens (I think). Interesting.
And what is that light leaking through?

My favorite thing is that Joker has deconstructed the piano and laid the keys around him.
I still can't guess as to what is in those little bags on the right side.

He does. He has them in the car as well.

Yeah, they're studs in both ears. He wears a lot of jewelry.

I believe they called it ''Liberace's AK''. :funny:

Maybe Joker having the same exact gun confirms this movie is a part of the Ayer shared universe. Jared said he likes to think the Joker is older than he looks so maybe Norman from Fury is actually Jason Todd and he becomes the Joker.

Pretty cool how he's wearing a different costume in every one of those pics.

I'm not particularly a fan of the facial accessories this Joker has the facial tats mainly but I can't say it goes against the character. The man is a terrifying clown after all.

Not sure how it would fit in terms of timeline and whatnot, but I think it'd be cool if Dawn of Justice ended with this

Didn't Umberto say a scene filmed in Suicide Squad was for BvS?

Ahh, if only Umberto was right more times than not.

It's another example of set pictures not doing something justice. The only official picture we had was the 75th Anniversary one, and people are just now getting over the shock of that one.

Have you guys warmed up the facial tats as well? I think the rest of the Joker looks pretty good but aesthetically I find the facial tats throw off some of the balance to his look.

I actually don't mind the grill at this point.

I'll ask again. Is it the word used on his forehead or because something is written there? I think people can't get damaged out of their heads (no pun intended)

The "J" tat on his face is alright to me.

I just think a forehead tattoo is dumb, no matter what the word is.

But it's whatever at this point.
I don't follow this fanboy theory that the vat of chemicals gets rid of the tattoos.

I feel like they could have done a better job with that.

I don't get how you put the Joker with a white background. This is a evil Joker, but the pic they posted didn't showcase that.

Could have prevented at least some of the backlash if they used a different background.

What if he carved a big X over that word. :o

The tattoos are barely visible in motion, so I don't see what's the big deal.
