In reply to the top 10 Joker comics, The Dark Knight Returns sucks.

I don't think it sucks, per se, but I don't find it as appealing as others. I can understand why it's so loved, but personally it hasn't ever really stood out as much to me.

Imo, the best part of said story is the Joker. After that, I kind of lose interest.

I sometime stink the "method actor getting up to hijinks because it's in character" stuff is usually overblown in terms of it being scary; I tend to look at most of it as being either subtle stuff for the role that people don't really mind (like Frank Langella asking that set members call him Mr. President so he could hold onto Nixon's persona during Frost Nixon) or more creative stuff that half qualifies as pranking.

Actors who don't go method already screw around with each other; heck, that's half the jokes we heard about the rest of the cast in this film. Probably the biggest thing that Leto, and Ledger before him, did with their method acting to mess with their cast mate's minds would be keeping apart and away from the camaraderie to intentionally have their more powerful character moments hit fresh ground as much as possible. Otherwise, both men didn't do anything too out of bounds.

Ledger actually had very friendly relationships with the cast. They hung out, they talked to each other. Bale or Oldman mentioned that Heath talked about his daughter a lot. There's a also a behind the scenes pic of Heath and Bale eating dinner together.

Heath's preparation for the role was intense and right before shooting he could be very intense (as told by Eckhart) but he didn't employ Leto's/Ayer's methods.

Anyone noticed how different Leto looks throughout the trailers we've seen? I wonder how much time will pass between the flashbacks of Harleen Quinzel and Joker in Arkham vs the end of the movie. I know the scene with him lying on the ground with the knives and guns and stuff is speculated to be a flashback scene of a younger.... his outfit even looks to be not on point with his Gangster style in other parts of the trailers... just makes me wonder what kind of span we are going to get with him.

Because a goddess like her should be everywhere, that's why :)

I just wanna know the Joker's reaction to seeing her and all those possessed soldiers.

"Girl, you should headline at my club - you hot and freaky - I smell MONEY !!!!"

I didn't notice this until now but it appears that Common's character grabbed the Joker's gun from his holster.

I think with as many tattoos as LetoKer has, they probably didn't bother to cover up his actual tats. No point really. Now with LedgerKer it was a bit of a blunder.

You were able to see Heath's tats?
