Seems like Leto's Joker has an element of careless glee about him. But when he's 'in the mood', he's going to make you hurt. Really, really bad.

Imagine if the Joker has a couple drinks at the club before getting into the chase with Batman. That is not something the Joker would do. The Joker is so crazy that he is above the influence.

Says who? Since when is the Joker so very eloquent that even a few drinks are above him? Hell, in the Joker graphic novel he's drinking and popping pills through it all.

Again, it's really hard to say what a guy as unpredictable as the Joker will do. He's constantly changing aspects about himself. He's liable to do ANYTHING.
