I'm catching it tomorrow night at the Sydney Premiere (not sure how much of an event it is) but I will be chiming in on my thoughts.
 
Nothing wrong with being disappointed about some scenes being cut--I was hoping to see those in the movie as well--I'd still like to see them in an extended edition at least if nothing else.

If audiences keep an open mind, then they will be able to appreciate (or judge) Leto's performance as Joker.

Going to see Suicide Squad with expecting a certain type of portrayal will make you disappointed.

Instead of complaining about it and quoting him (thus doubling the post for everyone to see further, why don't you tell him to use spoiler tags without quoting that gargantuan sized post?

Then why are you reading tweets regarding people's reactions? Did you REALLY expect not to come across a spoiler?

People intentionally getting into spoiler area and then blaming others.

P.S I don't see how the "teaser at the end" serves as a spoiler, as it doesn't spoil any major/minor plot point from the movie for you.

Unfortunately on the hype sometimes you never can be sure. You'll think someone is being sarcastic and sometimes they're in fact being completely dead serious.

Leto Joker is hilarious. He seems like a kid/boy version compared to Heath. It's kind of cute, and fits better with the vibe of Suicide Squad.

Technically speaking, though, isn't this version older than any past film version? I do recall Leto saying that he's much, much older than he seems. Which would mean they're heavily leaning towards the New 52 version. Fits right along with what you're saying about him, too.

Oh right, interesting. Hadn't heard that. I was a bit unsure when I saw the original pics of him as Joker but I'm loving him in the trailer and he fits in seamlessly with the rest of what we've seen of the film.

(I'm just talking from what I've seen in the trailer in case that wasn't clear) but yes, in a beautiful bad way, dark and weird. :yay: Can't wait to see more.

Spoiler is not a big deal. Just a hint of how different this Joker is then the others. If you read "Joker" you'll know what its talking about.
