Terrio isn't writing the Batman film.
I'd like them to change his look to something more eloquent and refined. The street thug aesthetic did not work for me, especially because it didn't inform the character at all and simply felt like change for the sake of it. I will never advocate making something aesthetically displeasing just 'cause. As for the way the character was portrayed, it's hard to say considering how much of the Joker material got cut from SS. It's possible that Leto did bring some nuance to the role, but all that was left in the film were his over-the-top Looney Tunes moments.
It would lend itself to the creep factor. Also, it adds to dynamics of age... old man Joker removing his false teeth![]()
Interesting, good point.I'm thinking they're saving it for a harley movie.
It could be they were saving it, but they may have also wanted to give us the meat of their interactions. I liked the abrupt jump from "I need a shotgun" to the attack on Arkham. I wish that sequence had been longer - also liked how he took that scientist guys wife hostage.
We didn't get much, but I liked that they made Joker vicious enough. I saw that shamanism/Baptist preacher thing in his speech to Harley before the chemical bath. I would have liked them to keep the scenes where Harleen and her truckers chased down Joker. I don't think it was tone or anything that kept it out - the kids in the audience got an eyeful of Jokers strippers and an earful of **** and ***** lol
Leto sounds pretty down. I think he personally doesn't want to come back. I think Affleck will talk him into it.
Leto even said the scene with him laying with knives was heavily cut down.
That from a new tv spot? Cause that's definitely not bootleg quality lol.Favorite line/delivery during the Arkham bits.
