I love Gosling but speculating on what he would have done is pointless because he wouldn't have done anything with it. He didn't want the role and he shot them done as fast as he was offered the film.

Yeah, I still couldn't see Gosling in the role. He simply isn't the Joker type. I was kinda on the "Gosling 4 Batman " train before Affleck was cast for a brief moment, though.

There's 4 major scenes I want to see with Leto's Joker.
-an Arkham fight with Batman
-an amusement park fight with Batman
-Joker's attack on Barbara
-The murder of Jason Todd

See as much I would love for that stuff to happen, I just can't get excited for films that continue to feature Affleck as Batman. He's so damn weak, he just says his lines in a plain Jane way. He doesn't emote, he doesn't do anything! I still believe he was a huge mistake.. I know he's going to continue to be the DCEU's Batman but man is he bad. He's decent in other films but he lacks the gravitas, charisma and authority for this role. I thought the flashback's to Gotham were cool and the exchanges between Deadshot and Batman/Harley and Batman would have been better for me with an actor that isn't just.. There..

He was also just plain cringy in the

Gosling would have been a better fit as Barry Allen than Batman or definitely the Joker IMO. I don't think he's a good fit for either of those roles at all, not a bad actor, a good one for the most part, just not for those roles.

gosling seems to want nothing to do with the superhero genre, whenever his name pops up you can essentially assume he'll turn it down.

as far as barry, im glad they went with a young actor. it wouldve been weird seeing a 30+ yr old flash showing up for the first time.

We'll have to agree to disagree on that, I don't like how much younger he is than the rest of the group. As for Gosling, yeah, it seems he doesn't want any part of the genre, fine by me, I don't think he fits for many roles anyway.

So since when did Gosling become that strong of an actor to people to where they think he could pull off these roles? Honestly, I think people get confused between a good actor and a good (character) actor. Just like when someone was throwing up Dicaprio as the Joker.. These are terrible choices. The actors aren't bad but they damn sure are not character actors.

Gosling would be a terrible Joker.... Period!

I'll be happy to see Leto in this, too, but I still want more Leto Joker.

Eh he would've had the same look at least, that was Ayers idea. And seeing as most of it got cut it probably wouldn't be much different at all
