Not sure we need a Joker cut. Cause it probably won't add to the movie.
At this point I think they owe it to us and Leto to show his extra scenes. For most, the Joker was a huge draw for them and Leto is getting unfairly judged so I say... Why not? Not to mention the false advertisement, I mean why put him front and center on a lot of different promotional material to then wittle him down to a glorified cameo?

Can someone post a picture with Joker where you can see the dead Robin tattoo on his arm? I've hears about this but i don't remember the tattoo.

It's gonna be hard making an Ultimate Edition when they supposedly had seven cuts of the film.

OK, so about the whole Harley being an accomplice... To me this seems like a plot hole, but I am trying to think how they could fix this. I thought maybe Harley could have been an accomplice to Joker somehow maybe not directly, but Joker wouldn't have even known her at this point.... wow.
Wow this movie really was a mess.

As far as this "continuity" goes, it is far from a mess since majority of it is just Ayers/Snyder talking, it has barely been mentioned on screen and thus EASILY fixed. Until it is on screen on written in some book the continuity can be changed.

Agreed wholly. The studio definitely owes the fans a Joker cut. You can't center your marketing campaign around a particular character & then remove most of their scenes. I understand that a lot of things end up on the cutting room floor but that much?

Ridiculous.

No they don't really. Misleading marketing happens all the time. Doesn't mean they really owe us anything.

Like that moron threatening a lawsuit against WB. He's not going to get anywhere with that.

Either way it goes, they're only hurting themselves.

There's someone threatening a lawsuit against WB? LOL. First the petition to shut down Rotten Tomatoes, and now this.

sometimes I wonder if DC stands for 'Delusional Citizens'

because thats what some fans are. Its just a movie. sheesh.

LeJoker is sort of excellent in the Bird is Baked/helicopter scene. Its on youtube and the more I watch it....he really nails the Joker there. And does a really good job in the chemical vat scene. The thats neat scene is fine as well. I just think the opening scenes and club scenes are just so hit and miss. Seems editing really hurt that one. The scene with Ike Barinholtz is ok, but only cause he saved it at last the second. Just no build up or menace to it.

However, yea the helicopter stuff is sort of great.

You can the edits on how he was really being violent towards her, but they edited it to make it like she just fell off.

I think the fact he's in a traditional Joker style outfit helps as well though..

Haha yeah, those guys are doing entirely too much. In the RT case, it shows the guy hasn't the slightest clue how the site even works.

Here's the thing; if Jared had known the extent to which he would ultimately appear in the film, perhaps he would have played it differently. Perhaps he would have prioritised aspects of his portrayal in the scenes that made the cut that he otherwise felt were covered in scenes that got left on the editing room floor, and given us this Silence of the Lambs-level performance people are talking about.

But that wasn't the case; he wasn't going for Silence of the Lambs. Jared was clearly lead to believe he had a much larger role than that, much more room to play with, and acted accordingly, as per the film's original script. He was then retroactively assigned a smaller role, with his performance retrofitted to suit the new direction, instead of doing it over.

If I were Jared, this is what I'd be most upset about - the possibility of my interpretation of the character being misrepresented.

They might be able to get away with the continuity **** up on the robin tattoo because if you look at his other arm you can clearly see that he has a tattoo of a knife going through the bat symbol too. He could have just wished them both dead when he got them done. And I don't think it's been clearly stated anywhere that he got his teeth knocked out for killing robin either?

I can't help laughing at the thought of Batman knocking out his teeth. He must have done some major damage because about 12 teeth are fake.

I'm rewatching bits and pieces of the Nolan films in light of Suicide Squad coming out, and one thing I feel like I took for granted back then is just how quotable all of Nolan's Batman villains are. From "Would you like to see my mask?", "Why so serious?", "...then you have my permission to die." They're so...actually villainous. But not over the top camp and fit really well with the characters.

Heath's Joker in particular is the most quotable. I hope Ayer or Affleck or whomever is going to work with Leto's Joker next writes him awesome lines or Leto comes up with good ones himself. I feel like Leto was let down in that regard when his role was minimized. The ones we saw in the trailer/film were kinda meh.

I like the hurt you bad line, but they used a worse take than the one from the Comic Con trailer.

The Harley/Joker stuff at the chemical vat was great. It was very manipulative. Leto probably sold it more than the actual lines though. The way he said "thats too easy" Then the way he he slightly hesitated to ask if "she would live for him."

I liked the "This bird is baked" line. Felt very comic book/BTAS for me. Not evil, but still good.

Technically Enchantress said a few good lines at the end, but she was looking a bit too weird to take serious.

I forgot about "This bird is baked." That was a good line and I agree, very BTAS.

I actually thought Joker/HQ exchange at Ace Chemicals was rather cringe worthy, but that was probably because things were just edited to seem more loving. The context of the convo might've been changed. The original exchange might've been better.

The only line cringe worthy to me was the "Oh, you're so good."

The novelization seemed much better. Again I just like how Leto sold a few of those lines in that scene. Then the mannerisms when he gets disgusted that he wants to go after her.

But yea he needs legit dialogue in the next films.

Completely agree with all of this!

I think that's supposed to be Batgirl

I like this concept design Purple suit in the bottom left corner, it's pretty good, despite the tats & the shoes aren't so great. They should of used that instead of the goldish suit jacket, which was awful IMO.

And I hope they burn the shorts/legging from the outfit with the Purple leather crocodile coat, those are beyond hideous, I do like the coat though.

i hope leto gets reigned in a bit next time there were certain scenes where he was overcooking it a bit especially in the club scene with common

leto's joker seemed better when it was him and harley when he does his gangster stuff with his gang he was too over the top for me

i still liked him tho
