Thank you

I don't recall seeing the first of the three.

Maybe Harley did go wild with a tattoo gun, scribbling all sorts of junk on Joker's skin because she's the ultimate Joker fangirl? He lets her ink him up, and looks at the result afterwards and doesn't like it. Who knows? A tattooed Joker isn't my preferance overall. But I'm willing to go with the aesthetic for this movie. All of his tats from his "HAHHAHA's" to the "Damaged", seem like something a middle school Joker fan would etch on his notebook. They just seem so simple and blatant.
I could get behind a disturbed Joker who'd tat up his face but at least give him something with some deeper meaning.
Or he's promoting his own brand.I've come to the point whereby my issue is no longer the fact he has tattoos even face tattoos, but more as to how lame the actual tats are.

I would have actually really liked the idea of Joker having one tattoo of Batman. It would highlight his obsession with Bats.
I accept the grills since I'm sure they're exist because Batman beat the crap out of him, same with the scars.
The rest of the tattoos don't bother me at all. Joker reinvents his look every so often. Plus I wonder if there's a story with them. And of course, the man's a psychopath.
Love the suit. I understand folks would prefer the traditional purple suit, but I dig the TDKR influence.
Glad they aren't going the permagrin route. That first photo shows Leto can give Joker a crazy grin on his own.
Here's the hoodie he'll be wearing when's he's in a smart/casual mood.

I wonder if they saw him in the white suit from the bootlef picsReally? From one scene you know what his entire wardrobe for the movie is?
Aren't The Joker's teeth SUPPOSED to draw attention?
So much this!!!If a costume takes away from a performance, it's not a performance worth much in the first place.
Nice find.If anyone was wondering, Joker's car is the 2015 Vaydor G35. Here's a video I found of it.

If you look in the video description, it says it is the same type of car being used for Suicide Squad. We could have known beforehand what car Joker would be driving because the video was published 11 days ago.
Yeah I conccur. The point being that if people simply ape what's been done before and what's most popular, and do it over and over again, these characters will ultimately stagnate. For better or worse, something new needs to be brought to the table if you want to justify bringing these characters back multiple times.
Seeing even one other actor made up to look like Ledger's Joker would be both demoralizing and infuriating.
I feel the same.I was certainly one of those that thought we were going to get a slick, and suave looking Joker. More Rat Pack than Gangsta. I really thought we would simply get modern take on his classic look... But not at all the way it turned out (which I do feel is a modern take on his classic look actually).
This!!!!!!Another interesting thing to consider is the juxtaposition of a grizzly, warn, battle scared Batman to a somewhat shiny, polished Joker. We haven't seen that contrast yet and I'm looking forward to it.
Nice...On the outfit: I love the classic purple tails as much as anyone, but it should be acknowledged that it is effectively period costume. Along with The Penguin, The Joker was born in what was destined to become a very iconic supervillain suit, but which were really just "clothes". Certainly, they were garish and eccentric for their time, but they remain influenced by pre-war fashions, nonetheless.
I really like seeing The Joker in an appropriately showy, vulgar ensemble that happens to throw back to the 2000's via the 80's, as opposed to the 30's-40's.
That's a good point. His traditional garb is old-fashioned. Nolan took the iconic look and modernized it just enough. Ayer is going even further with that.
Can't wait to see him in the white suitI still think the best looking thing of Leto was that bootlegged gif of his cell phone pics/video when he was wearing the white suit and laughing. The way his eyebrow muscles bent downwards with his laughter was perfect.
You have a point, man.Love it!
This is clearly right, but I think the DCU's swing toward a distinctly "teen" mindset is a deliberate attempt to target the optimum demographic as measured by longevity of custom and disposable income. I remember being fourteen, and I don't mean to patronise any younger Hypsters when I say that the comics, movies, videogames etc that I liked best were those with lots of bloody violence and lots of scantily clad women. I think it stems from a need to explore themes that are socially forbidden to youngsters.
Yes! Love it.
I'm still of the mindset the tats will work into the overall story, like Dr. Quinzel calls Joker "damaged" and he tatttoos it on his forehead to get under her skin.
I'm also still seriously wondering if Joker won't have multiple looks. The scene we've got pics are all flashbacks, right?

This!!!We've seen blurry footage of one small scene – how can we say he won't wear this?
It's like seeing the first photo of Ledger in TDK in the opening bank robbery scene... he's wearing a pretty drab grey suit!
This joker is a product of his time. which makes sense, especially when you think of Grant Morrison's super personality stuff about the joker.
Me tooI quite like the look, now I'm excited to hear the voice

This!!See, I really like the shade of green. It's cartoony, and really pops against his corpse-like complexion and dark shaded clothes.
But that's just me. *Shrug*

You hadn't seen his backI would have actually really liked the idea of Joker having one tattoo of Batman. It would highlight his obsession with Bats.

I never cared much for leather face joker either. My favorite comic stories and designs of the character have come from The Man who Laughs, Killing Joke, The Dark Knight Returns, and Arkham Asylum: A serious house on serious earth.
Are you refering to this?I recall seeing a photo of Joker's car crashed on the side of the road. Am I right, or am I imagining things?
It appears he has a Robin tattoo. That's a cool touch. And i like the toothy grin tattoo on his forearm.
How many times is he or someone going to be pointing a gun at his head?
