I like short hair and the beard for AM myself for BvS but thin clean shaven with longer hair for a solo film if that is in the cards.

I think people are over-stating Aquaman's role in BvS. I don't think it'll be anything more than a set-up for the Justice League, aka a brief appearance towards the end of the film.

I think people are over-stating Aquaman's role in BvS. I don't think it'll be anything more than a set-up for the Justice League, aka a brief appearance towards the end of the film.

He's going play a larger role in JL, though. So we're not talking about his role in BvS but JL honestly.

I wouldn't be surprised if Aquaman was the character with the least comic book accurate costume in this movie. Perhaps some simple pants and topless. We know Zack Snyder has a thing for it in his movies. Momoa already looks pretty exotic. This Aquaman could be a very primal one. It would look very different from the comics and his classic look, but perhaps that's the point.

Just like the New 52 has intentionally made Aquaman as cool as possible so he can move away from his public persona of a joke character by making him a complete bad ass (I wonder if we're going to see the panel from the New 52 Justice League issue where GL I think asks just what it is Aquaman can do, and he answers by pulling a great white shark out of the water and it eating one of Darksied's minions) we've already have an actor who looks the least like their comicbook counterpart, I can easily see them carrying that on by not putting him in a bright orange mesh top with green pants and boots.

I say this as a heterosexual male, but looking at Jason Momoa on Jimmy Kimmel, that is one beautiful man.

I think that maybe, just MAYBE this casting could be the best thing to happen for Aquaman as a brand in...ever.

Maybe we'll see an Aquman who has a mix of wisdom and rage/anger.

Imagine a mix of Anthony Hopkins' Odin and Gerard Butler's Leonidas.
