It's nice to have cushy jobs and where we can do whatever we want. That's why we get paid the big bucks lol! (At least that's me)

Same here :cwink:

My job's not "cushy" by any means...ANY, but I do have a nice office where I can drink coffee all day and geek out (when I'm IN my office)

I prefer his current look.

That's as long as I'd want his hair to be. I'd trim the beard a little, though.

His current look is perfect. If they lightened his hair he would look just as good. Either way I'm good.

I reckon he's going to be like Thir for some reason lol

Like Heracles. Heroic and courageous, but proud and arrogant to the people on land.

Eh, I was thinking like an underseas Thor as well. And I don't mean that in a bad way at all.

I suspect just from Jason being chosen we'll get more of a "King Orin, ruler of Atlantis" take than "Arthur Curry, public superhero". So being imperious with "surface dwellers" and having a stoic badass vibe is fine with me. How he interacts with the Kansas farmer with the power of a god, the Amazon Warrior Princess and the billionaire vigilante should be interesting.

Depending on how savage and badass Aquaman ends up being, Thor might look like a baby next to him.

Aren't we already getting that with Wonder Woman?

Well we don't acrually know anything, but... Ya know... He is The King Of Atlantis. It's a big part of the character. If he's the way he was in SUPERMAN:TAS or JL/JLU I don't see the problem, myself, and as a warrior sovreign it would be interesting to my eyes to see he and WW together playing off each other as fantasy royalty. I don't think it's a problem having both there.

I think if there is a solo film then that may cover him losing the throne, but I don't think we'll get much background for AM in this movie. Like Wondy, he'll have a relatively small roll in my opinion.

Yeah I think Wondy will have a decent role but I think the Aquaman role is going to be super small. I could be wrong but those are my guesses.

Depending on how savage and badass Aquaman ends up being, Thor might look like a baby next to him.

Judging from his solo films, Thor is somewhat of a baby. I don't want a young arrogant warrior looking to prove himself with chest-puffing antics.

Aquaman has the whole, "thrust into ruling" thing. It's very different to Thor and his relationship to Odin and the throne of Asgard.

And movie Thor was only immature in the start of his film. Sadly I was very dissapointed in the Thor sequel, but Hemmsworth and his portrayal have been spot on. Marvel, please remember that Thor is a Hulk/Superman level powerhouse in the future and write his adventures accordingly?

Now with Jason as AM, I am in agreement with the part being smallish in BvS but hopefully he'll wow us with something bigger in JL, and Zod willing a solo that is about his origin and the kingdom of Atlantis.

I want him to look more like Snake from the Escape films. Minus the eye patch.

I feel he'll be what Thor tries to be in the movies. Young and arrogant, I don't think Arthur will be like that.

I imagine he'll be a fierce ruler, who has a strong passion for his home and people, and doesn't think twice about crossing anybody who poses a threat to them. Quick to tenper, but cunning enough not weaken himself by jumping into a battle in the heat of the moment.
I don't want him to be dunb enough to think he can take on Superman if he's rubbed up the wrong way.

I can see him being like the character from the JL Animated series.

Exactly what I want. And now that Momoa is cast I think it's the only option they should be thinking about.

I would never have thought of Momoa as Aquaman before it was suggested but I think it'll be great for the character's image to have someone like that. Really want to see him in a good role in JL and possibly an Atlantis film later.

I can see the ombre (sp?) hair working for him a la Jared Leto:

Puh-leeze, I'm more curious about the abandoned b*stard brother, Tim Curry.

AquaMomoa :funny:

however way his costume turns out to be (which i must admit i also sense it will be redesigned) im hoping they wont pencil out his brow-scar. for some reason it fits the concept of Aquaman.

How about he has scales embedded in his skin, instead of a costume?! :D

I actually prefer that idea to the costume he wears in the comics
