Personally, I think he should stick to the dark hair. He's dark skinned and has dark eyes, he might end up looking as odd as Alba's Sue Storm contacts by going blonde

Agreed. That's my whole point about changing his look. Momoa is an actor of color. Making him blond would be silly when he looks fantastic as is. Blond highlights would be a cool look, like his hair is sun streaked, but completely blond is no bueno.

And if more Atlanteans are cast for later films they could do worse than lean on Pacific Islanders, dark skiinned Latinos or Mediterraneans to keep things consistant. I don't think Momoa looking somewhat unnatural or otherworldly with blonde hair should be a problem. It may look very striking along with a shirt of shimmering golden mall.

Smart girl! It certainly helps his little movie that he's suddenly very high profile now. People interested him would want to check out stuff he is in now.

Like back in the day the producers of Immortals said they were happier than Cavill when he landed Superman because now they did not have a big budget tentpole with an unknown lead on their hands. It just made it easier to market.

Agreed. He's not THAT dark, I think a dirty blond would fit him just fine.

The only person I can think of off the top of my head who has blondish dark hair and has a similar coloring is Tila Tequila. Sorry I can't post a pic because I'm on my tablet, but during her heyday she had a dye job that could work for Momoa. Yet, in my opinion, completely blond is no go for him.

But their attempts are thwarted by the mysterious Ocean Master who plans to manipulate the kingdoms into a war and destroy both as part of a deal with the Trench.

I love this. Leave Black Manta for the sequel when he tries to kill Arthur's son and makes Arthur lose his arm rescuing him. Maybe he could be an unusually high-tech Somali pirate.
