Lambo did a great job but I agree. The Injustice costume is too busy and frankly, kind of awkward. Even Momoa in the manip looks like he's saying "I know, I know... We'll do better next time."

I don't want to take away from your skill Lambo. It's really a very good job over all. Real good. Like I said, I myself just wasn't feeling the Injustice suit. Maybe, if you can find a good shot, you could try using the Flashpoint Aquaman Skin? It's general color and design could compliment AquaMomoa well, I think.

I envision Aquaman in this film as shirtless , with a trident and maybe a chain mail mesh net .
I am sure there is armor of some sort ,but more for the lower body.

I've never seen Momoa act (he could suck for all I know) and when he was rumored to play something in the film eons ago it was a shoulder shrugging moment for me but for some reason I'm interested in him playing Aquaman. I always thought Aquaman was a dumb character who would never make it to the big screen (even though I liked him in Bruce Timm's JL) but I guess it's just interesting that they didn't just go with a blond haired blue eyed dude. I mean Momoa looks like a beast who would be ruling Atlantis or whatever.

I'm not saying that I'm excited but if the dude can act (and most people have said he can) he could be freakin awesome. I like most of Zack Snyder's casting anyhow so I'm definitely giving all of the actors a chance.

To be honest he's not got the most interesting resume when it comes to films and tv, but when it comes to actors, beggars and choosers ect. I finally got around to seeing GAME OF THRONES maybe two months back and given that he played his role using a made up language 99.9% of the time, he did an incredibly solid job. The role was not a particularly complex one, but he was charismatic in the part and he even gave a sort of barbarian romantic magnetism vibe to his scenes with his on screen love interest. I want to check out Red Road, and his other roles. I will say, I actually go against the grain with his CONAN film. That thing is crap from start to finish, but not because of him. He gave a fine performance... BUT... Well, despite visually nailing it and being a very good swordsman in the action scenes... No. He was not a good fit for the part. Again, he didn't seem like a bad actor, but a bad fit, in a badly done film.

Well done LamboMan, this is another great manip.

The costume itself has some of the problems shared by most of those seen in the Injustice game, however. Namely, it goes a couple of stages too far with a concept. The least pleasing feature is that Aquaman appears to have vertebrae around his neck. Not only does that say nothing about the character; is is also rather macabre, like H R Giger's (gods rest him) Aquaman.

Otherwise, I like it a lot.

I'm not a fan of that Aquaman costume at all, the manip is well done though. I just really dislike pretty much all the Injustice designs.

With the right materials, Aquaman's classic suit can work with very little changes. Wilkinson is the man to find those materials. It's also very important to choose the right shades of orange and green...

I also am a fan of the 90s Aquaman look, that's the Aquaman that reminds me of Momoa in the first place.

I don't think he'll win an Oscar/Golden Globe/SAG Award any time soon, but I think he's more than capable of having an Aquaman film be his franchise. I honestly don't think he's any worse than Hemmsworth, or Henry Cavill or Evans.

Another issue with the Injustice costume is that it flattens to texture of Aquaman's "shirt" to make it look like your dad's unfashionable sweater.

I maintain that he could look amazing in a shirt of golden/bronze scale mail, encrusted with pearls to keep the maritime theme.

The thing with Momoa is I think he has the potential to be a pretty decent action hero. He's got the look and charisma for it. He's an up and comer for sure.I definitely think he could carry a solo film and more importantly I actually think WB might take a chance on him. I definitely think he's a good pick for AM for several reasons not the least of which because he's fine, and he has a built in fan base of crazy GoT fans.

I won't deny the GoT fanbase. He might even still have the Stargate Atlantis fans to support him, now they were crazy, but he needs to really step up his game for an Aquaman solo film right now his facial expressions are generally limited to some form of angry snarl and that cocky smile that often still looks like he's angry and wants to rip you a new one.

I would say for this film his snarl is thing we want to see. Isn't he supposed to be pissed about the destruction to his home world? Plus realistically, a solo AM film is years away. He still has time to improve his skills and he will improve. He has that potential and he seems to be dedicated if he's already directing his own films.
