The detailing you can doo in live action is different than what's seen on the page. Plus, as a friend of mine reminded me, the orange/gold shirt is what he wore when he was sent to prison in Atlantis and sentenced to life on a chain gang as slave labor. It says something that he wears such a thing proudly once he took the throne to my eyes. Plus, Jason's size and presence are all AM needs to be seen as formidible. No need to trick out AM's anatomy.

I really don't see what's wrong with a scale mail shirt. If they were good enough for Roman auxiliary troops, they are good enough for Aquamoa.

That's exactly what I was trying to find yesterday. The Roman army outfits. But I was searching the Gladiator outfits

I can get behind an inspiration based on that. As long as it's not orange. Gold

You could create a storyline that fits the costume into context.

Say Arthur wears something more royal in nature to begin with and that costume is his battle suit. Or he wears that prison costume in his solo film, where he's sentenced and imprisoned for helping the surface?

Well we don't acrually know anything, but... Ya know... He is The King Of Atlantis. It's a big part of the character. If he's the way he was in SUPERMAN:TAS or JL/JLU I don't see the problem, myself, and as a warrior sovreign it would be interesting to my eyes to see he and WW together playing off each other as fantasy royalty. I don't think it's a problem having both there.

The way you differentiated King Orin from Arthur Curry made it sound like Orin would be the dominant "personality" as it were.

Aquaman is raised a human and thrust into an alien world. Wonder Woman is raised "alien" to us and thrown into ours.

Yeah I think Wondy will have a decent role but I think the Aquaman role is going to be super small. I could be wrong but those are my guesses.

Agreed. Granted I'm assuming, but I'm assuming Aquamomoa is only gonna pop up toward the end or something quick...a 'cameo' only as they've stated.

With the recent news of Jason Momoa as Aquaman; I spent the night on Photoshop to man my own manip (since other photos weren't really cutting it for me). Please keep in mind that I'm no expert at Photoshop and there is not a lot of source material to work off. I had a lot of fun making this, and I hope you enjoy!

Nice work man! I'd add the beard but overall looks good. (Still not sold on Aquamoa wearing the orange scale shirt)
