BvS Jason Momoa is Aquaman! - Part 3

I like the idea of him as Aquaman, but I'm not believing it until Jason, WB, or Snyder say it themselves. Remember the Bryan Cranston/Luthor thing?

No I don't remember all of the trades saying that Cranston was cast as Luthor, I remember Cranston saying he was interested in the role and completely unsubstantiated rumors about him being in the running and that's it. Never did I see a real trustworthy news source say that he had the role.

I was wondering because anytime someone mentions he will be Aquaman or is confirmed because such and such, people are so quick to say, "nope. WB hasn't confirmed it." but it's not the same reaction with the other mystery casts. Obviously we want official WB confirmation, but that's interesting.

Personally, I like Momoa ( and I have since Stargate : Atlantis), and I indeed would think he'd be a great AM, but I'm a stickler for the facts and until WB says it's so, it's not confirmed, as much as I'd like it to be true.
People should just stop saying it's confirmed when it's not.
Is it very likely ? -Yes, I believe so, I think he probably will indeed be Aquaman, it does indeed seem quite obvious that he will be. But, it's still not "confirmed" no matter how probable it is.

I'm a stickler for facts as well which is why I get on people who say that it is confirmed that Batman is semi-retired. Snyder and the producers have said no such thing, that is not to say that that particular rumor is untrue but that rumor is not coming from a place that I'll automatically believe.

No Momoa being Aquaman is not technically confirmed and no one should say it is but it's not just some wayward rumor that he is. We have overwhelming evidence pointing in the direction of "yeah, dude is Aquaman."

More evidence, in my opinion, that they are shooting two movies basically back to back.
