Just the way the bat symbol is shaped and colored. It almost looks like part of her shirt is cut out, like Miss Tessmacher in Superman '78.

Being that Lex is obviously ginger in this universe, I am surprised that no one suggested that Malone could be playing Lena Luthor by now.

Maybe because it's clearly a wig on Eisenberg.

Ah, this again. I'll never understand how some people find it to "clearly" be wig. Yes, we know it is a wig on Eisenberg's head in reality, but, no, it doesn't obviously look like one. And even if it were a wig, he'd probably wear one of the same color his real hair was, so it is not a game changer when it comes to this.

Anyway, given that guys like ElMaybe and such that pull "scoops" out of their asses have suggested pretty much any character regarding Malone's role, I am surprised that none of them thought to mention Lena Luthor in their guessing game, as it is one of the more obvious choices.

People find it clearly to be a wig because people have eyes that can see.
And yes, it looks like Lex is waiting to reveal a bald head in the BvS movie; nothing to do with the real world knowledge of it being a wig.

And why no one bother mentioning Lena Luthor?
Probably because it's not an obvious choice....

You mean, I have eyes that can hear? :wow:
Man, I should use this to get rich!

Yes, he will be bald at some point, which is a point completely unrelated with him having either a real hair or a wig.

I think we were pretty much past obvious choices since the moment they mentioned Carrie Kelley as possibility. And Lena Luthor is a much more obvious one, because, you know... Lex Luthor is in the movie.

You don't need to "hear" an obvious wig.

And a Dark Knight Returns based Batman is in the movie; guess who else co-starred in that story?

No one has any care for an estranged sister of Lex; especially considering she has nothing to contribute to the movie compared to the other actually obvious possibilities of characters that Malone can be.

I don't know much about the character, but I just find much more possible for her to play a character that has been part of comics from the 60's than a (crap) character from four issues of an elseworlds story.

I think that is exactly why so many jumped to the idea of her playing Carrie Kelley - general assumption that there's much more TDKR influence in BvS than there actually is, despite Snyder pretty much setting the record straight on this.

Personally, I am still of mind that if she is in the movie, she is most probably not playing a comic book character at all.

You don't cast Malone as a non-comic book character; especially one with action movie type roles under her belt.

Lena Luthor may have been around since the 60s, but she's literally done nothing note-worthy in all that time; unlike the more obvious possibilities of roles Jena most likely has.

Jena... Lena...Hmmmm...

The answer was right in front of us the whole time...

So that means, mutants and Jim Gordon not married to Barbara or the nut president and old Green Arrow for starting JL will be there just because BATMAN is inspired by TDKR. Yeah right :funny:

don't know if this has been discussed beforehand but does anyone else see a resemblance of Jena Malone to the batman arkham knight version of batgirl?looks incredible similar to me personally
latest

Ashley Greene is the voice actor for Barbara/Batgirl in Arkham Knight. Her likeness is there, in my eyes.

:whatever:

I could see Jena as Oracle, who'd fit into the story better than Carrie Kelly.

i'm praying for barbara or oracle. i really dont see how bringing in carrie can be anything but creatively stupid. itwipes out any chance of characters like nightwing, red robin, or Damien wayne

but then again i always felt relying on too much of millers work would be a downfall

I don't get this logic. They can cast her for whatever character they see fit - comic book one or an entirely new one, created for this film.

Lena Luthor may have been around since the 60s, but she's literally done nothing note-worthy in all that time; unlike the more obvious possibilities of roles Jena most likely has.

And neither did Carrie Kelley. As I said, I doubt that she'd be playing Lena Luthor, but I don't see how is one character more likely than the other, given that they are both pretty obscure ones in their own rights. Only reason why Carrie Kelley was ever brought up was because of the "TDKR" influence in BvS, which we now know won't be nearly as strong as initially believed.

Same here. But, though I was initially quite worried they might let TDKR influence this film too much, it would appear it is not the case. Especially after what Snyder said about the matter, on more than one occasion.

True, but Lena just got a push in the current storyline (Darkseid War).

Anyways, I don't think they care about a character's relevance in comics - it's not like they are doing a direct adaptation of any particular story. They are taking the characters, reinterpreting them (while taking elements from varous comic books) and telling their own stories.

Brilliant thread bump.

I could not believe the amount of thought and info that came with that. Hot damn. So beautifully put and the way you ''bank on it'' mhhhm. *kisses the air'' Bloody fantastic, sir.
