GuestStar2004 said:Even though he then asked them all to join him after charles was shot? so really he didn't just have his eye on her, in the end he wasn't grooming her through out the film, there were scenes where he said some stuff to her to stop hiding but there was no sense of he was secretly grooming her so when it came to it she would be all over him and he could take her away because he wouldn't really know if she would walk away from charles for him
i think its just because we know she went with him in FC and the way mystique was always with magneto in the OT thats its easy to forget that
That's a fair point and I didn't take that in consideration.
Then it must be one of three things:
(1) Magneto must be an idiot if he thinks that people he barely evens knows would join his cause, mere minutes after he attacked them;
Angel, Azazel, and Emma Frost did join him; mere minutes after an attack.

(2) or Magneto must think Beast, Banshee and Havok are idiots;
(3) or bad writing.
I think there was some sort of grooming of Raven going on. After all it's curious that Magneto really only imparted lessons to Raven, amongst that group.
I think once Magneto saw Mystique on his bed he knew he had her.
i dont know how I feel about a Mystique spin off she has already gotten alot of exposure already in the movies as it is, Id rather they focus on another mutant. the only way Id be for it is if Rebecca Romjin was in it, no offense to JLaw because I think she is a great actress just as Mystique I prefer Rebecca. DOFP may change my mind.
Preach it!But I agree though, DOFP may change my mind too.
Blue is the Hottest Color
For most of her scenes as blue-skinned Mystique, Lawrence donned a head-to-toe spandex bodysuit with puff-paint pieces applied on top for a scaly, 3-D effect. She still received full-body airbrushing (as she did for X-Men: First Class) for some close-up shots, but Mingenbach says the bodysuit, "cut down her time in the makeup chair by five or six hours."
I never would have guessed the above outfit cost as much as $4,000.Mystique Goes Mod
The American Hustle star embraced the period looks of the '70s-era Mystique, particularly the femme-fatale-inspired halter-top and hot-pants combo, with a suede coat ringed with a white Mongolian fur collar. The custom outerwear cost $4,000. Mingenbach found the oversize hammered-brass buckle at an LA flea market. Lawrence even got into the '70s vibe by going braless in her period duds.

Even though that shot is crazy photoshopped she look's really good.
Please do a spinoff. Jennifer can carry a film and its great way to introduce Destiny. Mystique can do anything this has way more potential then Black Widow or Ms. Marvel and I actually wanna see those movies. Spider-Woman too
I'll have to disagree. Mystique is not a strong enough character for a solo film, nor is she as popular.
