Well, it sounded like in the Lord and Miller case, and with Colin, it seemed that they were all on the same page but that the writer/directors began to shift into doing their own thing or doing it in a way that wasn't satisfactory.
In Solo's case it was much easier to resolve the issue since they already had a script by Kasdan which Lord and Miller wanted to deviate from. The ultimatum was, follow the script or leave.
With Colin , it sounds like they liked his pitch but the scripts we'rent to their liking. I won't make a judgment about whether they were good or not since I haven't read them. They could have stunk or they may not have gone in the direction the producers wanted to go. At this point we don't know for sure.
We've haven't heard about any issues with Abrams and Terrio at this point , so for now we can assume they all seem on the same page with Episode 9. Time will tell if there's trouble in paradise.
