Well I'm hoping with the talent involved, there was something good in the script.

I'm glad they didn't go with another big name. Too many big names will make it feel like The Expendables.

Well, Ormond is bigger than Nielsen, I think. But yeah, too many big names might become a little too distracting for a story and a movie like this. Well, maybe that's up to the story. I dont know if the big-ass cast hurt the Oceans Eleven-movies.

Seems like a good choice, I remember her in Curious Case, she was good. Seems like a solid choice. They got quite an acting crew on deck already.

She does look her age in some pics but to each their own I guess.

Damn.

Long time crush on her. Loved her in Catherine the Great and Sabrina.

Great choice. What a voice.

:supes: :supes: :supes:

I'm actually surprised they didn't go younger for the casting of the Els.

What kind of couple has their only son at age 50?

I guess they're kryptonians though, so that logic doesn't really apply. Still though.

I think it did...by Oceans 12 it wasn't a movie, it was just a bunch of pompous actors celebrating their own fame.

They're not 50, I think they're both about 46, 47.

But still, that's quite old for parents what have only just had a child.

But then if they were younger they probably didn't wanna risk them looking younger than Lois, lol.

Imagine a Lara who looks alot younger than Lois, haha.

Good Choice . She was great in First Knight.

Yeah I like her very much. She was great in First Knight and Sabrina back in the 90's. I had a lil crush on her lol time has been good to her. :yay:

They are practically the same age and while Crowe looks his age, she looks like she is pushing 50. I think she is fine for the role though and I am happy for her. Keep in mind this is what Amy Adams might look like in 10 years.

Amy Adams won't look like her in 10 years, nowadays she looks 10 years younger than her age!

Julia Ormond doesn't take care of her skin, tha'ts why she looks so old for her age, most women in her age (and older) look much better.

She's a good actress, but I'd prefer Carrie Anne Moss.

Moss is Nolan's friend and was part of a big WB franchise, won't they remember her?

Well I've heard some theories for Jor el and Lara having a child a bit late in their age (when compared to the average age of when a couple have children) due to how devoted both are, especially Jor el, to their work.

Heck in SV, they established that Lara had thought that she was originally barren since she was unable to conceive a child for so long, only for her to do so at a surprising time (during when Zod and his army were waging war against Krypton in the SV universe).

Who was she in Benjamin Button?

She was the daughter of the old lady (Cate) I believe. Or who ever she was in the hospital with I can't remember its been a while, I just remember her in that part.

Great choice. I've always liked Ormond I'm glad to see her (possibly) back in a huge film. She was about the only good thing in First Knight. I also liked her as Sabrina.

On a sidenote, I wonder if MOS's version of Lara and Jor el will actually be the VERY FIRST live action version of the characters to actually kiss each other like husband and wife.lol

In any case, if Julia gets the role, who would you guys say that Henry's Clark/Superman would potentially/plausibly resemble more from his birth parents? His mother or father?lol
